I can agree with both of you on this, but if you'll allow me a moment to play devil's advocate for just one moment, I could also see these jerks retorting by saying that the devs had brought it upon themselves with the numerous mistakes that have been made with ME3, the misleading comments made by devs pre and post gold phase, and the novel Deception.
However, let me be very clear about one thing. Although I can understand where they are coming from to an extent, that does NOT mean I agree with or support the way some of these knuckleheads have been acting. After all, you can attract more flies with honey than you can vinegar, and a mature, well thoughtout, and articulate discussion can at times get you farther than mindless hate text.
EDIT: @ Darth Malice113
You also bring up some good points.
look i have to vent here and this isnt a personal attack on anybody
do i have my nitpicks of me3? of course but the only way i wont go back to playing it is if nothing new is available via sp dlc
thanks to the knuckle head fans for throwing a baby fit people who want single player dlc have to wait now because the devs are working on the extended cut
what im sick of seeing is these same so called fans demand something then 2 months later act like the devs are there slaves and demand more from them and if they dont get it they accuse the devs of lying let alone actually afraid of the vocal fans when they are not.
my attitude is man up pull your balls out of your purse and really ask yourself do you think your more important than every other fan? what makes you so special ? should throwing a 2 year old tantrum at the age of 25 - possibly 30 put you or those people ahead of others?
i am personally not mad at the devs because what they do is buisness i am however mad at the fans who think they fight for every gamer when in fact i have been on record for 3 months straight telling them dont speak for me
so far and it kills me to say this but the people who acted out of control during the whole ending fiasco really sucked the fun out of any replay value because they can never shut up and ruin it for other people because they think there the number 1 people who only matter.
I agree with you but throwing a tantrum about those are are having a tantrum about the endings is not going to help.
Posts like this has a possibility to get yourself banned. If you really can't control yourself, don't visit the thread or even better, if your not in a calm mood then stay away from the forum.
I had issues with the game but i made my issues clear and left it at that.
I hope we have maps that are Prothean exclusive vs Collectors. Obviously maps are Prothean settings just to fit the lore. Would be odd seeing Protheans fighting in our cycle.

I'm sorry but I think you're generalizing when you say that people who complained are whiners or knuckleheads. People had legitimate complaints about the ending, BioWare's lucky that through those complaints most of the other problems ME3 has were ignored. This isn't just happening because of ME3, first it was DA2 then it was TOR, enough is enough, this was bound to happen. In my opinion it is not our fault it is BioWare's because they chose to go through with that ending. If you should blame anyone on this its BioWare themselves. This would have never happened if they hadn't screwed up with the ending.
I'm sure people would have complained about something as it is usual with this place, some complaints could've been legitimate others not so much but I doubt there would be a mess, the size of this one if they had not done what they did. We'll see if the EC fixes anything, but in anyway I won't ever buy any BioWare games without scrutinizing them first and I'm sure many others will do the same too. They simply cannot be trusted anymore, and that is no one's fault but their own.

Ha! Nobody needs to address anything.
They're working on the EC. I say let them work on it and quit demanding that they take care of all these "issues" that crop up. Why can't others call this guy out if they don't like what he has to say?

"Usually, when a guy loses the game, the game shuts down; it's over. It's done. The players don't like that,"
also
"I just did another session with them...They were saying there's a little bit of a problem with the abruptness of the ending," Hendriksen said. "So we did a whole series of things to add to the end of the game, to live up to the quality they've been doing."
...side note the press junket was for "TRON - Uprising" if you haven't watched it yet, it's available online here:
The show is promising, and lance is also in it so feel free to check it out.
Also, thank you saberchic for the banner, it looks good.

So Bioware's acknowledging that no matter what choice we made, Shepard lost? And EC may remedy that?
If so that's a bit of encouragement.

With all due respect, Lance Henriksen doesn't seem to know what he's talking about, it just ugh, makes no sense
I think he pretty much sums up what a lot of disgruntled fans think. That the endings do not feel like an acompleshment or victory.
We do win in the endings, but a lot of the anti-enders don't seem to think it feels like winning.
So maybe that's what he meant. Personally I'm happy he adressed my concerns, the endings were too short and ended too abruptly, so I'm glad they understand this fact.

More like as the writer of pretty much everything with an emotional catch (that isn't contrived) in ME3. This guy can make the toughest guy cry like a baby.

Shepard's Trial DLC: Show us what happened directly before the opening scenes of the Reaper attack on Earth. Properly show us why Shep is having to face the music back on Earth and properly introduce us to Mr. James Vega. Can be used as a recap for imported players, and as a character-builder for new players. Uses the actual in-game engine and not low-quality Dark Horse comic panels a la Genesis.
