a decade of hype will do that for a games release, but gotta give blizzard credit where its due, they really do know how to make a game addictive, I think the player base did more to sell that game than blizzard itself.

I am a big fan of DII. The long legs of the game are the gears, & making it hard to get the best gears, as well as different builds (but I heard they took stats & skill tree away). Its addictive to beat your fans & others for kills.

I am still wondering why not many games that came after offers the level of item customisation.

In D2, I have a bowazon, as well as a javazon, but in d3, this is unneccesary as you can be both in a single character. I am not sold on this idea, but I will see.

I hope to get a new PC & D3 next week, when I am no longer home bound (due to ankle injury).

Yes, there is nothing weird about the people who have gone through hell with you twice already just flying off and leaving you for dead.

My money is on MP stuff
could be wrong though...

Yeah, almost sure it's Rebellion DLC

Why would multiplayer DLC be the best thing they ever put out. The last DLC that claimed that title was the Shadow Broker DLC. Why would a multiplayer DLC beat that? My money is on the EC.

Normally I'd agree, but these guys are BioWare. They love hyping the **** out of stuff they know isn't their best.

Yeah nothing weird about it. The Normandy leaves the battle for a second time to go back to Earth to pick up your krew for some reason, regardless of the fact that all of them were all like "we either get this done, or we die trying".
I don't know what game you are playing but in ME, your squad that has been with you through hell and back, would never leave Shepard and just flee to save their lifes.

Even if they did leave Shepard  - they would have pushed for the Beam the second they saw Harbinger ****** off. Its not like there was a heavy contingent of tropps protecting the beam or anything.

If the Normandy came in to pick them up, they would have seen the opening, and the remainder of the squad would have given their all for that last push.

Everyone knows how much is riding on the crucible - there is no logical, freaking way they would pull out and abandon when they were so close.

If they did, then BioWare just comitted the greatest character destructions of all time. Garrus holed himself up on a one way bridge to take as many mercs out as he could before they got him. Vegas got a deathwish anyway. Javik...well...its Javik - he would push himself out of an airlock if he saw himself abandon that fight.

Exactly. Even if they saw Shepard disintegrating from the beam, does anyone honestly believe they would leave Earth, instad of trying to finish the job, or die trying to? That was the climax of the story, the fate of the galaxy depending on those last moments, instead Shepard gets hit and your krew leaves Earth. Come to think of it, I have a bigger problem with that part of the ending than the catalyst.

It was thought that nobody made it to the beam, this includes Shepard and Anderson. Coats clearly states this over the radio while a bloodied and bruised Shepard is waking up from the blast. He also calls off any further attacks. The Normandy crew is now justified in believing that Shepard is dead, and that Hammer failed. If you cannot open up the Citadel, you cannot use the Crucibel. What reason is there to stay on Earth? Or even in the Sol system for that matter? Because from this point on, Earth is a lost cause. Picking up the rest of the crew and getting out of the Sol system is the most reasonable thing they could have done.

Except to get out of the Sol System, by making it to the Charon relay, Joker would have needed to pick up your squad after Shepard awoke and ascended the beam. Then flew the 8 hour trip to the Charon relay to exit the Sol System via Mass Relay. We can only take what happens in the final scene at face value so either Joker found a new way of going FTL to make it to the mass relay in less than 8 hours or time is an illusion in the final scene.

I'm not saying it was possible, because yes, I understand the physics involved do not add up. My problem is with the claim that "the Normandy would have never left Shepard behind".

Agreed there could be a conciveable reason for the Normandy to abadon Shepard. It's just the whole scene is poorly constructed ontop of the impossible physics which just creates more confusion. Given more context to the situation you probably could come up with a reason why the Normandy is leaving Earth with your crew, I don't know if I'd like it but you definately could come up with a reason.

I'd also like to know why Joker turns around while fleeing from the beam to look down the ship at the galaxy map. What could he be looking at!?!

Yes, there is nothing weird about the people who have gone through hell with you twice already just flying off and leaving you for dead.

...

And SMILING about it too!  They climb out of the ship and smile at the purdy sunset on planet incest.  No problems there.

And of course, the people that "joker picked up all magical like" were often the very ones that were with you on the final stupid fight AND DIED IN THE HARBINGER BLAST.  Nothing stupid there either.

Occam's Razor is your friend.  The squadies with you on the final fight to the star turd kid died.  Joker did NOT have time to grab up anyone and had NO WAY of knowing that there was anything to run away from.  Hell,
Shepard didn't know he was going to have to die for no logical reason NO MATTER WHAT CHOICE HE MADE right up to the end.  Stupid breeds more stupid.  The ending, all parts of it, were stupid.  Even full-on retarded, not to say objectively illogical and contrary to EVERYTHING in the ME3 game up to that very moment.

There was NO THOUGHT put into the ending.  None.  It was pulled out of a hangover dream by Hudson.

Its weird in a character point of view, but not for the movements. Its quite logical to assume that they were picked up and taken away. Now the motives behind all of it...that's the weird part.

Here's a scenario that may have happened, they survived the blast and were fighting an enemy force that'd came just as shepard and Anderson make it to the beam. Than they get word that the crucibles docked and shepards alive, and hacket orders sword into a retreat to get away from the crucibles potential blast radius, this is why no ships or alive reapers are seen around the citadel.

Joker gets the order and fly to pick up the rest of the crew and anyone else he can from the battle, in doing so the normandy takes heavy damage and has to pull off the frontlines for repairs. On the way the crucible fires and joker is caught midrelay jump trying to get to escape the blast no one knows anything about.

Now yesterday was a really big update day but now we're derailing the thread and coming close to spoilers in the nonspoiler section. It's a new day so let's see if there's any new tweets.
