Monogendered means "one gender", you can debate whether that means "all female" or "no gender at all"

It means neither. What it means is what you said at the beginning of that sentence, "one gender." Metagaming aside, a monogendered species wouldn't define their individuals through understandings like "no gender". It's us, whose females they resemble, that create and stamp associations.

Though I agree about asari being generally more attractive to males in the ME universe. But still, their biology implies otherwise.

Didn't the bachelor party at Ilium also indicate that the asari look different to every species? That'd mean they can look like anything beneath all the biotics.

That being said, apparently the comment of the Matriarch Writings was a joke.

@mikeakabowz it is entirely possible that I was lying about the Matriarch Writings.

The bachelor party was among three drunks just making crap up on the spot.  If Asari looked different to everyone based on some kind of mental voodoo, that would all go out the window the second someone took a photograph of one.

They were all focussed on things related to their own species. Salarian = Skin colour attractive for salarians. Turian = the fringe. Human = Body shape.

Things make more sense when you are inebriated. Just sayin'.

How many times have we've seen the old drunk on the street making up some random jumble to the main character and then it ends up being true in the end in every form of media? Remember Manuel? Drunks and stoners "getting it" is nothing new. Don't knock the drunks.

With that being said, what the previous guy said - they focused on different features. B)

If Asari do look differemt to every race then I only want to see them through the eyes of a human :P

The writings though, I hope it is recognised somehow. Even if it's just an extra codex entry, it would be nice.

These are the kinds of jokes that give OCD people heart attacks.

Shame on you, Bioware employee.

I don't see why, the OCD people (me being one of them) already have the writings.

There is an element of pragmatism there. I have managed to lose my ME1 saves, and was considering whenever to bother doing the collection quests all over again in preparation for ME3.

Heh, thank you for the offer, but I am solving the playthrough speed problem with cheats. Spawn the super gun, bind the teleport command to a key, and the absurdly inflated amount of walking/fighting for the sidequests should be cut by a nice, round 75% if not more.

It has actually been a fairly amusing experience so far. The only annoyances are setting up the 6 romance variants and collection quests. I am thinking of minimizing work done for both by plot gymnastics - romance both Liara/Human, then use the "choose one" scene along with Virmire to set up saves for purpose of not having to repeat the side quests. While it won't have the same "purity" as my original saves where there was only one romance pursuit (or none) per playthrough, I have strong doubts that Bioware will do anything to distinguish between ME1 saves that had the Liara-Human argument and those that didn't.

"Done modifications to the Nemesis. Her personality is really shining through..."Annoying" would be my summation. ^_^"

Nemesis are one of the more elite types of Cerberus enemies in ME3, FYI

Also props to him for working during a holiday weekend! :wizard:

So we go chips, we got burgers, we got hotdogs (or smokies), we got red and green cabbage for coleslaw making, we have mayo, ketchup, milk, mustard, we got what looks like a couple packets of bacon?

Agreed, they could cause a lot of problems zipping around so fast.

Indeed, I even recall Casey tweeting about it a few weeks ago. Argh!
