But do you seriously think she won't do everything she can to avenge her daughter even if it means losing Omega or her life in the process?
Well...Between avenging the dead and saving the living, I'd choose saving the living. My people would be grateful for that choice, I'd bet. She might still save Omega if she fights. If she's going to sacrifice her people for her revenge, I'd have no respect for her. They don't deserve to die just because she's fixated on the past.
Besides, if there's no hope and the Reapers are going to win, then TIM is as good as dead anyway. Why waste time on killing someone who's already doomed? Personal satisfaction for driving a bullet into his flesh or frying him with biotics? I'd have even less respect for someone so selfish that she'd sacrifice the lives of her people for a brief moment of personal satisfaction.
But I get distracted from the main topic of the thread.

So unlike ME2, then. Judging by ME2, the writers don't have much respect for romances, but that's one aspect that many players find the most attractive, there's no sense in ignoring it, and there's no getting around it. As for me, I don't expect much. Romances haven't been very substantial or deep so far (to say the least), but there's still a lot of excitement around them (around what little there is). Besides, romances are practically the only thing that provides replayability.
It's not surprising that people are interested in relationships. I bet that many players are going after romances simply because they want more dialogue. If the writers despise the romances, all they need to do is write deep progressive relationships with emotional dialogue, and I wager people would find it just as satisfactory. It's strange when you can't get to know people unless you bed them - usually it's the other way around.

Wait, what? Vanguards were already extremely viable in Insanity.Vertigo_1 wrote...

I hope they don't make the Vanguard Overpowered... Playing as a Vanguard was fun because it rewarded people not being stupid...

I asked if we're going to see it at Comic Con or Games Con, so cross your fingers and if we're lucky, he'll answer my question.

Yay
@ the Vanguard insanity issue: The one time I played on Insanity was as a Vanguard, and in my experience Vanguard wasn't very well designed to be viable on Insanity. Charge is a very good way to get yourself killed in a hurry unless you only use it at the very end of a battle when there are only one or two enemies left, at which point you may as well just shoot them. Or I'll grant that maybe I just don't know how to play a Vanguard properly. It was the same problem with any biotic power besides the ones like Warp or Reave which are designed to affect protections. By the time you take down the enemy's shields/armor/barrier, they're only one or two well-aimed volleys away from death anyway, so why bother with fancy tricks like pull or throw or shockwave? At least on lower difficulties those powers were still useful against the grunts, but on insanity literally every enemy has protection! Even the blasted husks, which made for some very tense moments on missions like the Reaper IFF.

Even if he doesn't, it sends them the message that we want to see what they've got. Fan input is why Casey Hudson decided to show off the weapons customization and skill trees at E3 after all.Vertigo_1 wrote...

They will show it off one day, they mentioned it enough times that it there is some plan when to show it. It's just that expecting an answer when it not worth asking IMO.
They were going to show it off anyway since they took feedback from ME2 since its release.kregano wrote...

A demo before the actual release of the game would be SWEEET!!

I'm really looking forward to see what section(s) of the game BW decide to put into the build that will be at Eurogamer in September - with ME3 being there has actually made me super enthusiastic to actually go to a local gaming convention . In terms of a console demo - like I said, I would welcome it, it would be cool to get my hands on a portion of the game before release but having been to Eurogamer it may in fact be more of the same unless they change it up.
@Vertigo: with the release timing of an ME3 demo they would have to logically do it before release, I couldn't really get my head around playing ME2 for a few months and then on the ME website "Download the demo for ME2!!!"

Indeed, I'm curious to find out what they have to show @ Eurogamer too.
The only other demo talked about from ME3 Preview articles that we haven't seen yet is the one where Shepard is watching a Reaper and a Giant Thresher Maw attacking each other. Of course they may have an entirely new demo we don't know about for the gaming conventions...only the devs know for sure.
I probably won't try the demo if they release it before (of course, I will likely try it when it comes out because, its Mass Effect 3!) just so I can get into the retail game 'fresh'.
