I hear DA2 is still a great game but when compared to DAO it's horrible. But it's not fair to compare games to the rare gem of a masterpiece DAO is. Maybe Bioware should consider changing the name of DA2 to something like Dragon Age Kirkwall Chronicles? Then we can still have a proper Dragon Age 2 to look forward to but enjoy Kirkwall chronicles in the mean time?
No disrespect intended just thinking out loud.
Consider changing the name of the game?

It probably won't happen, but it's an interesting suggestion. I can see how some folks might have had different expectations of the game if it had had a different name. That said, what would y'all have named it instead of Dragon Age II?
So far, i've seen Dragon Age: Kirkwall Chronicles and Champions of Kirkwall. i like the sound of Dragon Age: Hawke, but until you play the game, it doesn't really mean much of anything. It just sounds neat.
(Let's try to keep it clean and free of backhanded insults, please.)

I never stopped engaging the fanbase... except during my 2-week vacation. I've always been here. It's just a lot more difficult to get a word in edgewise when every other post is insulting my job, my intelligence, my employer, my project, my industry, etc. It's a lot easier to actually have a conversation now with more interesting topics being discussed, with people who prefer to have a discussion rather than an argument... or a trial.mindbody wrote...
Is your contribution to threads recently an indication that Bioware is re-engaging the fanbase after some hard self-evaluation? Or are you trying to woo us back to the fold? Woe unto the woo-er.

I am somewhat acquainted with the reasoning behind the decision, and it was far more involved and had farther reaching ramifications than simply "slapping a 2 on it."Brockololly wrote...
Yet for whatever reason, BioWare/EA just slapped a 2 on it and called it done.

Aside from some business trips and vacations along the way, he's been around, pulling the strings from behind the scenes. He is hoping to become more visible and active with all y'all again soon, but mostly he's been working on important behind-the-scenes stuff.Dragoonlordz wrote...
What happened to Chris btw, haven't seen him in a while.

Not really. I did ask that folks take this a little bit seriously and to try and keep the thinly-veiled insults out of the discussion.
