And there's no way Bioware would drop that part because DA:O was an awesome game with a deservedly great reputation. DAO made the brand valuable and pre-sold a ton of copies for DA2 on the strength of that experience. Brand recognition is a big part of why sequels usually sell more than original chapters in an IP.

Fixed that for ya. At the very least it's good to see some consistency in that DA2 fans dislike fun, and DA2 provided exactly that: no fun.

I care so much about your opinion that it hurts worse than my close-to-bursting gallbladder. I'll go pop half a vicodin to take care of the pain right now.

Dragon Age: The Source
It's funny because it does to Dragon Age what The Source did to Highlander~
Oh please! DA2 is the Highlander 2 of the DA franchise(so far, anyway
It employs a lot of retcons (see Zeist), the majority of the fanbase despises it(though I haven't come across anyone who likes Highlander 2), it's considered vastly inferior to it's predecessor, both professional and user reviews think it's inferior to Origins and finally I can't stand them equally as much.
BTW, The Source was just the final nail in the coffin for the Highlander franchise. IMO, the original should've never had a sequel. They should've made some epic prequels instead.

Nope, not unless you happen to magically produce some legally prescribed painkillers like mine. *yawn*

I dunno, I equate it to The Source based on the hammy story, jagged and utterly inconsistent plot, the lolwut ending and the fact that the combat sequences looked f*cktarded.Alistairlover94 wrote...

I like how you feel you have to validate your butthurt disdain by adding '*yawn*' to the end. So classy.

Butthurt is butthurt. Needn't be classy if it's just plain true.

Yes, THAT fight. And let's not forget how ruining the Highlander franchise wasn't enough, they had to ruin Queen, too! If Freddie Mercury was alive, I suspect he would personally smack the a-holes who ruined "Princes of The Universe".

Actually, I find your responses moderately amusing, but frankly, I'm rather bored while waiting for a patch to finish downloading. But yes, you go on thinking I'm "butthurt" if you want. *pats you on the head and gives you a cookie*

Ahh, I see, so bored, in fact, that you couldn't be bothered to go post in a thread you might actually like. Yes, clearly your boredom dictated that rather than post somewhere enjoyable, you had to come in and stink up a fun thread just because it wasn't lavishing a game you liked with praise. Obviously you're not butthurt at all.

What can I say, I clicked on a thread at random, saw the somewhat unrealistic idea that BW might somehow suddenly change the name of the game and then saw a silly supposition later in the thread that the company just decided to...what was it..."slap a 2 on the game" or something to that effect? I proceeded to roll my eyes as an expression of disbelief - woops! *hands you another cookie and some warm milk too* Maybe that'll cheer you up since you're so put upon by minor expressions of disagreement?

It's too late to change the name now and by all indications it's too late to change direction for now.

You have to defend Kirkwall against assault of 82nd Airborne Thug Division and 101st Airborne Templar Division. You also have to fight against guerilla mage forces.
