Ok now with shield bash upgraded so that it staggers,in tacticts menu i order Aveline to
Enemy:nearest visible rogue=shield bash.Or with a mage casting winters grasp upgreaded
But it does nothing not only with aveline but  with any time i order Enemy:nearest visible rogue.
Any insight  or solution ?

It would be good to have more info on the issue. Chances are when something goes wrong in my tactics it's due to bad ordering/configuration, so posting the whole tactics for aveline would help identify the problem.

Not 100% sure on this but some of the tactic conditions have been bugged from what I've read. Don't know if nearest visible rogue is one of them (I think I have used this condition and had it work however) but another way to work around it is to have

enemy: rank elite or higher -> shield bash
or
enemy: rank elite or higher -> use condition for next tactic
enemy: target of Hawk -> shield bash
but both have their problems, obviously being that it could be firing at any elite or higher and the latter using up an extra tactic slot.

But yeah best bet is to show us the whole tactic sequence.

Edit: Also I'm no tactic expert! Take a look at SuicidalBaby's advanced tactics guide to get a better insight on how tactics work in general and how to set them up

Allready tried (enemy: rank elite or higher -> shield bash) and it works so ill leave it as it is.But most of all thank you Catalol and Suicidialboy for your concern!!

Do you know if this is the same when you are using the nearest warrior/rogue condition in companion targeted tactics (I'm thinking probably yes)? ie Ally:nearest visible warrior > Goad

I've never had 'nearest visible rogue' work for ANYTHING, if I'm understanding your question right.

the condition is broken. changing the target does nothing to alter it
