Hello, I decided to come back to the ME Universe and was excited to see 2 more DLC, Shadow Broker and Arrival. Purchased both and Arrival installed just fine. When I try to install Shadow Broker I get an error stating installer integrity check has failed.

I googled the problem and it pulled up an months and months old thread about the issue. I am unaware how to delete my 'browser cache' to try again as the article linked has long been deleted. Is there a simpler solution that has surfaced since the problem began a while ago or do I need to just DL it again? I'm hoping for a solution of some sort before attempting DL again as the DL speed from the Bioware site is very very slow compared to my normal DL speed.

Thank you for your time.

Deleting your browser cache is somethnig within the functionality of your web browser. Cant tell you how to do it, as the procedure varies frmo browser to browser. I suggest you activate the help menu in your browser, and fnid out how through that.
Also, the NSIS error can be caused by dropped packets (more frequent if using wireless), antivirus, download accelerators, and even some add-ins for your browser.

I've actually had the same problem, it doesn't work for me and I've got the same error. I've tried everything it suggested, nothing helped.

Posting here because it seems most relevant. I've been having the same 'corrupt installer' issue with the arrival DLC but nothing else. If it's dropped packets that's the problem, I'll try to get a friend to do it on a wired connection and see if that helps. Failing that, has anyone found a workaround for the NSIS problem? I've done the following:
1) Cleared cache
2) Tried a different browser
3) Download multiple times
4) Bypass installer integrity check by using a command line switch
5) Shouted at my computer.
None of these have worked. Has someone found a different approach that might actually yield results. I've been really excited to play this DLC and now...well now it's sad.

Wireless is ok for general surfing, but for downloading anything of size, it leaves a lot to be desired simply because of the amount of packet loss as compared to a wired connection.
When you tried downloading it multiple times, did you do it with the same broswer, ir did you get yuorself a nice clean copy of anotherbrowser and try that? Often the incorporated download accelerators or add-ons in various browsers can also cause the file to become corrupt.
By the way, you forgot to try;
6) Offering blood sacrifice to the computer.  Best done by "accidentally" cutting finger/thumb while removing the case so you can threaten the computers innards with a screwdriver.

Have the same issue here, and its not only with shadow broker and arrival...

It's driven me nuts!! was hoping to find a solution, but can't...

I suggest for other people to try this method:

go to search -> press cmd --> drag the installfile in it then press spacebar /NCRC
This will force the update to install. If u do this a couple of times, your installation will eventually complete.

Sadly I'm not able to get this done to overlord >.<

Help!

So I've switched over to a wired connection now, moving the entire cable modem/router setup up one floor and drilling a hole in my floor to do so (there are few forces more powerful than nerds pursuing internet access). I've downloaded it through three browsers and have drunkenly shouted abuses at my computer to no avail. The NCRC switch always causes my installation to abort halfway through due to a corrupted installer, so it's a problem downloading. I'l gonna pay for another piece of DLC and see if it downloads cleanly.

Did you delete your browswer cache before redownloading?

Yeah. After extensive shouting and the sacrifice of a freshman, I've come to the conclusion it might actually be a hardware problem. I've recently RMA'd my hard drive and Seagate repaired it instead of outright replacing the bad drive. Now, it's been a couple weeks and I'm starting to get bluescreens pertaining to NTFS.sys, which tells me I've just won a new hard drive! And the associated bill... :(
Also, I downloaded Stolen memory the other night and hit the same problem. It seems all my DLC after a certain date is having the problem, which points me back to hard drive problems. Mathematically, the odds of downloading a corrupt copy from biowares servers as many times I have, in succession, are so astronomical it has to be something else.

One thing to try before sending off the drive is replacing the drive cable. Silly as our sounds I had one go bad causing weird issues, I replaced the drive to find out it was in the cable when I tried to reuse the old one.

Sure couldn't hurt. I've already sent the drive off once though. If It's actually still bad I'm changing brands. I'll swap in a new cable and leave it for a week, see if it starts behaving itself.

I'm having this problem now... Fifth consecutive download is up, with Firefox DownloadThemAll! Manager and after clearing cache, will see how that works out. One of the incomplete LotSB downloads actually made me have to reinstall the game 'cause it bugged it damn right to hell (setup froze at one point and the HDD crashed (though it's been a little unstable on its own, I admit). So those who only got the NSIS error may consider themselves lucky.

Seriously, I've paid for this ****. Hell I even created myself a PayPal account specifically to do this. I realize this is at least partially due to the size of the download but couldn't this be solved by, I dunno, maybe compressing the .exe file with winrar? For the love of the Enkindlers...

Oh, and I'll ask here again: Does the full, properly and correctly downloaded Shadow Broker .exe file have the red "2" icon?

A HDD crash has nothing to do with the DLC installer. By your own admission, your HDD has been acting flakey, so the crash and game corruption is due to that, not due to the DLC.
You have admitted to using Firefox, with a download accelerator/manager, which is one of the things you should not be doing when downloading a large, single file executable. Best results for downloading DLC is with an vanilla browser, Opera or Chrome give the best results. If you insist on using Firefox, delete your cache, disable all extensions, and try again.
If you are using any form of wireless technology, either internet or local networking, then that can be a major source of problems, due to the excessive packet loss associated with wireless communications. Plug into a wired network/internet connection.

No, LotSB does not have the red "2" icon on its executable.

OK, thanks for the advice... I don't insist on using any browser, it's just that I've found this thread HERE where a number of people have confirmed the DownloadThemAll Firefox manager to have helped them.

EDIT: YES IT'S WORKING! I've used Firefox DownloadThemAll! manager, with settings like dividing the file into 10 parts (default is 4), removing the limit for renewing connection and setting the transfer limit to 50 kb/s, that makes sure the download goes a little slow but steady, without transfer hopping and plummeting every now and then. The installer caused no trouble and the entire ingame episode went smoothly.
