You're in denial. Or maybe you aren't as smart as I gave you credit for. Anyone knows that this Topic isn't meant to establish civil discuession but to simply spite Zulu since a Mod locked the other Topic.

Uhm, LOTSB was DLC, meaning, not part of the game. Extra. Cameo of Liara in the ME2, the game, where all Liara did was sit in a chair, is what people are afraid of.

Thing is that popularity shouldn't decide development of a character. The story should. I shouldn't be forced to like or have a character on my squad because others like them and they now have to the it guy on the team.
I like Garrus and all but the Garrusmaners demand to be pleased and they thrust a guy, who failed at pretty much everything he's tried to do and hasn't been integral to the story line since he was trying to get info at the beginning of me1, into the main plot of a story because

As I said, all of the original points of those who supported the return of the ME2 squad have been proved already. Whoever claimed that a. No ME2 squadmates will return, b. No ME2 squadmates will be permanent and c. No ME2 squadmates will be as interactive as the rest of the squadmates has no proof.

Miranda, I can agree, but Mordin? Mordin was one of the most plot important characters in ME2, and he can probably help with the situation between the krogans and the salarians in ME3.

All ME2 squadmates are integral to the plot. The whole game revolves about Shepard finding them. ME1: Wrex and Garrus make no sense as to why the join you, Tali is an obvious plot device, Ashley makes little sense.
