Yes, ME3News is my account.

This screams like "Yes, there will be squad armour customization in ME3, but we are still working on the details."

EDIT: I have posted this for 5 seconds and this already got 4 views?

As long as they don't go walking space in catsuits and instead employ some real combat "fashion" I am happy.

And yes, we are one hell of a community!

Doesn't say he's discussing squad armor customization.

Probably DA2-style upgradable squadmember armor.

Having 2 choices (a la ME2) for outfits is still technically customization. So I wouldn't get too hyped up.

But if they do expand it I'll be happy.

It may not be detailed, but it's another important confirmation for the series.

I think anyone who's expecting to be able to swap armors in and out again on their squadmates will be dissapointed. We've already seen Ashley/Garrus/Kaidan and Liara in what look like unique ME2-styled outfits. I suspect customization might refer to adding passive gear like amps/omni-tools and such to increase their combat effectiveness.

ME1's system is impossible.
Too many species. ME2's, Shepard's Wardrobe-like system? Why not.

With a generic response.

Remember the video talking about Garrus' armor and how it has to be blue and black? They're heavily invested in the idea that each member has a recognizable look.

I'd be speechless if there was even a small amount of tweaking (helmets, eyegear) to their appearances.
