Some hot-pants for Liara, a smart hat for Garrus (I think he'd look positively dashing in a bowler hat), and a pastel leisure suit for Zaeed is all I ask. And maybe throw Tali a top hat or something, to snazzy-up her suit.
Seventies blue tux pastel or eighties pink polo pastel? Or peach? :innocent:

I think he'd look amazing in a peach eighties leisure suit. Like Don Johnson meets Clint Eastwood.

But I can't help wonder how if the game was practically finished and with all the backlash that the ME2/DA2 system resulted in, that they're only thinking about this now? Unless it's one of the reasons the game was put back and is one of the mechanics they decided to 'tweak'.
If however, it does turn out to be just a case of giving them a few recolours of the same outfit regardless of what armour you actually equip them with. ( as in DA2 ). Then there are going to be a lot of p!ssed off people.

Squad customization suggestions.
Squadmates change their casual outfits themselves throughout the game if the Normandy has a relaxed dress code like in ME2 like 1st half of game Kasumi's casual is all black mid game she changes to a cotton kimono and last half of game she's in jeans and tshirt. Players don't change these outfits the characters in question do. Now if the Normandy is all military and everyone including the groundteam squadmates have to wear the Alliance casual uniform (blue pants and blue, navy cameo short sleeved shirts) then no switching of their outfits would occur.
Armor we can buy full armor or parts of armor instores thorughout the galaxy the store list would tell us what is what for example: armor style: Turian aromr full set model: SF230 when we select the item we can try it on before we buy it regardless of weather say Garrus is in the party at that time or not. So I select it then a new screen pops ups either showing Garrus or a Turian model like you see in department stores and we can see the outfit so we know before we go spending that 1000credits on it if we're going to like it on Garrus in the first place. The thing I didn't like about armors in either game is for ME we saw a box with the color and pattern of the armor on it (that didn't help me determine if me or squadmember would work well in it) and in ME2 we saw an image close up (didn't help sense not all the photos were clear on the details in the armor) so seeing a mannequin modeling the armor that we can rotate would help alot.
A mix of armors that match or are very similar to some styles shep owns and others that are truly unique from what shep owns. For instance if shep is spector then him rejoining the alliance allows for him to buy unique spector only armor but he can get this armor for all his squad members regardless of race. Now something to point out BW we know a Quarian has never been a spector shep would have to request from the spector store guy at Csec to custom make some for her then after we return we can get Quarian spector style and strength suits.
Toggle helmet options for squadmembers independent of sheps toggle. What I liked about MEs toggle helmet feature is I could toggle sheps helmet off but his squad members would keep their's on so if I though if fits Ash's persona to keep her's on all the time she kept it but if I deemed Garrus would keep his off he did.
The ability to free change squadmember's armor colors like we got to do with sheps so if I want a team off lime green and yellow highlighted armor clad squad then I can. This color change option unlike what we got in ME2 will be able to be used on all makes, all models, and all DLC armor we get in ME3.
