Hey guys,
Name's Jake, I'm a huge Bioware fanatic and have played through all their games (console versions.)
I was playing Dragon Age: Origins (ultimate edition) today and ran into a very strange occurence. You see, currently I have two different characters. I've completed the Origins Main Quest Line on my human rogue character. I hadn't loaded up that character's Origins save after I viewed the epilogue...until now. As soon as I loaded it up, and it sends you to that little area where you can start DLC from, an achievement popped up. "The Ultimate Sacrifice - 50G." Now, again I've only completed the Main Quest Line with one of my characters, and during that Main Quest Line I fell in love with Morrigan, so naturally I chose to do the Dark Ritual with her at the end of the game, and I subsequently recieved the "A Dark Promise -50G" achievement. So can someone please tell me how I got the ultimate sacrifice one after loading up the same characters epilogue? I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining (saved me a whole 'nother play through.) It's just very strange to me, I was wondering if anyone else had the same "problem?"
Anyways, I'm new to the forum, so a friendly "face" is always appreciated.
Unearned Achievement Unlock?

I have read a few posts where the wrong achievement is unlocked, though yours is a double unlock as you will. In as far as the wrong achievement getting unlocked is concerned it is a 'problem' which has been mentioned before, but it does not seem to be a common one (at least as far as I am concerned anyway).

I've played the game through... well, a lot, lol! This double unlock, so to speak, is exactly what happened to me on my first play through. I did the ritual, then got the achievement both for it and for sacrificing myself. I read somewhere, forgive me since I can't recall where exactly, that this is some kind of glitch.
My only curiosity is if this double unlock affects the 'every ending, all plays' achievement. If I haven't actually ever sacrificed my GW, would the all endings achievement fire if I meet the other two conditions(sacrifice Alistair, sacrifice Loghain)?

I got the ultimate sacrifice achievement once without ever actually killing off my warden at the end. I've killed off Loghain and Alistair once each, and the rest of my playthroughs have used Morrigan's Ritual.
Now, if I could get the blight queller achievement to unlock. That's the only one I have left.
