Name: Ish's Armors De-shelved
Version: 1.2

=================
Requirements:
=================

Dragon Age II

=================
Description:
=================

This is a project to remove the chest-shelves on some of the armors in Dragon Age II. There have been a lot of complaints, so I wanted to see what I could do.

=================
Details:
=================

Many, MANY people have made it known that they aren't fans of the ridiculous chest-shelves on DAII armors. Though I don't have a problem with them personally, I am nothing if not a kind and benificent woman, so I've removed the "crumb-catchers" from Ser Isaac's armor, the Robes of the Champion, and the Warplate of the Champion.

=================
Installation
=================

Uninstall any previous version of my mod you may have before commencing installation of a new release

Extract this archive and place the folder "Ish's Armors De-shelved" into your "packages/core/override" folder, overwriting if prompted. Each armor is packaged in its own .erf, so if you only want one of the edits, just delete the packages you wish not to use.

=================
Un-Installation:
=================

Delete the folder from your override directory.

=================
Incompatibility:
=================

This is incompatible with any mod that includes "arm_medj.msh" or "arm_medj.mmh." I don't believe that anything like that has been released, but I mention it just in case.

=================
Known Issues:
=================

* None :D

=================
History:
=================

5/23/2011, 1.2 - added Warplate of the Champion

5/16/2011, 1.1 - resolved DirectX11 problem; added Robes of the Champion; minor mesh tweaks

5/15/2011, 1.0 - initial release; featuring Ser Isaac's armor

Right on! It actually looks really cool with the triangle, imo. Awesome work!

Considering that, of the four armors I've seen with the "dribble plate" only one of them makes sense (and thus I hate the other three), this is going to be a must-have mod.

Keep up the good work, ishmael!

I can't tell you how stupid those chest shelves look. Therefore, this makes this awesome and sex and stuff.

But... but... my crumbs! They're spilling all over the floor! Oh, the humanity.

That looks great. Also, is that the dead space armour? It all black and sexy, rather than the hideous grey monstrosity it normally is. What up with that.

On behalf of humanity, never ever take your pants off again under any circumstances. Nothing of interest lies within.

Which programs did you use for that? I also tried to model a bit but the process fbx -> mmh,msh.phy seems to currupt the vertex points of the mesh every time.

I used Lightwave with tmp7704's .msh plugin.

The converter in DA2Tools wouldn't work for me. It kept screwing the mesh so that it wouldn't show up in-game. I've a few more questions for tmp7704 to get everything working here, but Lightwave knows how to show a girl a good time. She's been treating me much nicer than Blender.

Nice, would be good to get rid of all of those silly and pointless shelves. And when this is done, maybe helmets can be adjusted since over all this time, BW still messes up most of them. One can dream.

I quite like the 'guard' on the warrior and mage champion armour, so i probably would never change them, and i love the Ser Isaac armour, but the shelf on it was horrible so thank you so much for working on this

This is awesome Ish, I am glad I will no longer be stabbing my LI in the face with that thing. (I rather be stabbing them in the face with something else, hurrhurr).

The triangle seems so empty though. Like something should be there. An emblem, a necklace? Merrillscarf? Dunno. Thats a texture thing, however.

Keep up the great work. <3 <3 <3 <3
