I kid, this actually looks pretty sweet. I dig those gauntlets you gave him.

Wait, people don't like the armour shelf plates? But...but look how it adds to the character's silhouette!

Those are the DLC mage gauntlets, actually

The testing being starting up the game and seeing how they look? I could just about manage that, I think.
Okay, download the file "Isaac Edit.zip" here. Put the .erf in "packages/core/patch" and tell me how it looks. Take a screenshot too, if it's not too much trouble.
That goes for anyone else who wants to help, too. Thanks!

The front!
The back!
The combat-from-the-side, with a shield!
I'd have taken shots in a less gloomy location, but I don't actually have a male Hawke to use. Hopefully it's clear enough. Are these what you wanted?

Never mind. The issue is DX9 vs. DX11. It works fine in DX9, but the DX11 renderer screws it up.

Confirming that it is a DX9 vs. DX11 renderer issue. Below are screenshots with DX11:

And screenshots using DX9:

And if I may be allowed to give a bit of a critique, I'm not a big fan of the golden "v" on the front chestplate. It's such a graphic design--not to mention it's a light valued element next to darker values--that my eye just goes straight to it. In short, it's kind of distracting. It might be better to just texture it as a metal plate with a few scratches/dents here and there. Here's a quick paintover in Photoshop:

Since that's not so much a "bug" as an... "engine limitation," let's call it... I'm releasing this.
As for the V on the chest... that's there because of how I edited the mesh and because I don't want to edit the texture. I'm in the process of packaging up the final release, and I did something different in my edits, so the V is gone. There's a barely noticeable seam with the default textures, but the Dark re-tex covers it up and looks very nice, in my opinion.

Yup, I don't think it's going to work unless BioWare release updated MSH and MMH processors.

Yeah, there's actually not a big difference in quality from the medium setting to high, so I wouldn't mind dropping down to DX9 to have this mod.

It's clearly the male equivalent of women "eyes up here bucko" t-shirts. Except guys being guys want the attention down and below the belt.OrientalisDraco wrote...

A teaser:

I'm gonna come out and say that the mage gear is really annoyingly modeled. I hate working with it. So, that's all I'm doing tonight. I'll maybe refine it tomorrow and get the female armor done too, and then I'll release it.
It's just the mage armor, warrior armor, and Isaac armor that has the chest-shelves you people hate so much, right? I haven't forgotten about anything?

Really a shame about the dx11 issue though, don't think I could play the game without my high res textures and vh settings
