Its kinda silly you have to wait till you get all the way to the archives to be able to make elemental weapons. Is there a earlier place to get that book or is that it?
Is there a place to get the book of all elements before Archives?

I don't even think it has all the crafting books. Cause realy you only get a few basic books before you get to the first place your allowed to craft at. It's just your more limited on the actual crafting meterials used until later in most cases and some you can't at all.
