cause when you get the Teifling lol Neeska I think, Ive never seen it where she doesnt level up with the group at the same time, so does that mean we all get XP slower because she's a + 1 level character?
How does having a + lvl character affect XP

No, you actually get XP faster because she's one level crappier than the rest of you (which is a bug, it's not supposed to have any effect).

You all get XP and level up at the same time. However, she's one level lower than you. As Manageri says, this probably means the engine thinks she is weaker, and so actually awards you more XP as a result (as if she had no LA).

Possible; I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes, though, because IIRC the game *will* treat them as tougher than the level they are, because they have all those racial bonuses, but it probably won't add up to one level higher, which is how it should treat them.
