And especially while the font size needs to be a bit bigger...

Can't you adjust the font size with your browser? What resolution are you using?Rheannan wrote...
You mean now I have to hang around all these new, weird people here?

On the other hand, maybe not. The bar at the top seems to have been altered, it sits where it should when I up the font size now...

One size up in Firefox makes it slightly too big.
There's just no pleasing some people.

Yeah, it sucks. I was hoping that would be one of the last closures, 'cause this place sure ain't ready for prime-time yet.
BioOT is hardly prime time.

On the contrary, I think the site is pretty good but needs some font size and colour improvements. It's easier to read on the original website, so I'm hoping that's what this one will end up copying.MrGOH wrote...

I can throw a fish at you, would that help?Amberyl Ravenclaw wrote...
I am sad about the BioOT's
closing. That place served me for a good 5+ years, come rain come
shine. This place doesn't quite have the same feel to it, mostly
because of the absence of many familiar faces (at least for now).

Somehow, that line reminded me of a forum a long time ago, at which one of the denizens would pop up from time to time and offer "here's a fishy stick for you", or something similar to that! It was like an atta-boy . .

Somehow, the idea of a forumite chasing after a thrown fish is... weird. The ones I throw are all aimed at the person, not away from them.

The way I recall, it was a cooked (fried, probably) length of fish on a stick, awarded as a prize. I presume these thrown ones are either frozen solid to cause injury, or going bad / odorous from not being refrigerated?

actually, they tend to be wet and large.

And not frozen. If I wanted to inflict that much damage, I'd just use a doorstop. Or a dictionary.
