Damn right I will. When a person changes who they are just to turn into a sexed up Barbie Doll that they said they hated and never wanted to be is when I lose all interest in them. What Bioware has done with this new 'battlefield armor' reveal is turn Ashley into a Hypocrite because they want to sell her like a sex object just like Miranda.

anyone ever consider that this is her casual outfit? She's a Spectre so she's bound to have a new outfit since this is a redesign. your quote hits the nail on the head, she prefers armor, matter of fact, every specte we've seen has Armor. Saren, Shepard, Nihlus, and Vasir had Armor. She has Armor on Horizon (and she's probbaly already a Spectre there we need the game to find out when Ashley and Kaidan Get promoted) and since she's fought on the front lines for the majority of her caree, she'll always have armor. I doubt you'd get her in combat in a jumpsuit unless someone boarded a ship she was on and didn't have time to put on her heavy armor.

I just don't think that they'd put that much detailt into a casual outfit, remember what garrus was wearing when he came to Shepard's quarters?

Untrue. Bioware wants to sell sex more blantantly now so that means that Kaiden is now three sizes bigger in bed.

Yes. I find it laughable that they gave Kaiden HEAVIER armor, because he's a man, than they turn Ashley into Miranda 2.0 despite her being a Soldier that wore Medium to Heavy Armor. I mean, seriously. What is this?

Couldn't keep it in his pants? She told him to f#$% off and get f#$% off of Horizon. That's not an inability to keep it in his pants, that's called moving on instead of dwelling on some chick that left his ass. And making some changes to win someone back isn't SUBMITTING TO THEIR WILL. Like PMC said, we all make changes to be with each other, not a little, A LOT. She's not some teenager to fall into such moods to begin with. She's a seasoned soldier, a resolved woman and damn strong person.

She's also not a rock. You put anyone smack dab in the middle of the apocolypse and lost love and they'll crack so hard and fast, it would make your jaw drop to see it.

Noone's saying they want Ash to remain a static character, what we're saying is we don't want her character to do an 180º.
Further, your "on the spot", if anything, only came to make the situation worse instead of showing a natural evolution of the character.

Then what the f is the problem. I've never said anything but that it wouldn't be the end of the world if Ashley changed a little IF there was a resonable explanation for it in the plot. And posed a strictly hypothetical situation that may or may not explain the pic we've seen.

I also posed the possibility that she has to seduce someone to achieve an ends. We're spitballing here people.

My, "on the spot" didn't do any f#$%ing thing because it's a completely random made up explanation for the pic that has no bearing what-so-ever on anything.

That's not the point - I don't think anyone would mind seeing her with a mini-skirt and thigh-high boots if she went on, say, a date with Shepard.
People mind she's wearing makeup and wearing an unpractical, revealing suit into a battlefield. That's not the Ashley we met and talked with in Mass1 and saw in Mass2.

Oh my god dude. I have stated repeatedly, and by that I mean at LEAST two times on each of the last four pages, that it would be ridiculous if she wore that makeup and jumpsuit into combat. Do your homework man.

Well, in my head, he's even better than that, but that's dumb kids in love for you.  However, Ash knows Shepard on a personal level, and while the fact that he's a big goddamn hero has earned her deepest respect, she's not about to show up on the battlefield in a bikini for him.  Just like Jack wouldn't wear a frilly pink skirt just to impress Shepard, Tali wouldn't get a boob job for Shepard, Miranda wouldn't fight naked for Shepard, Garrus and Kaidan wouldn't wrestle in their boxers for Shepard, etc.

Yes, the LIs would all take a bullet for Shepard (well, maybe not Jack), but they wouldn't change everything about themselves just to impress the (wo)man who saved the galaxy.  They may open up and share parts of themselves no one else sees, they may goofily show off on a date, buy little presents, whatever, but NONE of them, and I mean NONE of them, will abandon the core of who they are just to inflate Shepard's ego.

Jack will always be crude and disrespectful.
Garrus will always be hot-headed and heroically stupid.
Thane will always be quiet and reflective.
Miranda will always be professional and controlling.

...and so on and so forth...

... and Ashley will always be Ashley.  Ashley does not compromise who she is to flatter someone else, and she does not go into combat without appropriate equipment.

Her appearance was sexy-yet-practical, pretty much the ideal balance for a lady soldier--especially the "Soldier" part, as actual armor was part of her attire. It suited her attitude as well--she was flirty when she wanted to be, but not to the point where you viewed her as a sex object. Switching to form-fitting jump-suit, make-up, and letting her hair down all in one swoop, though? Serious alarm bells.

I just prefer not to jump to conclusions until I have a full-body image and some idea what the execution's like.

Now if she wears some skin type outfit into battle ... that would be odd. Personally I would love both the option for her little white & pink armor for nostalgic reasons as well as something more update.

In ME2 some of the crew always made me uncomfortable to send into battle ... Samara, Miranda, Kasumi, Thane and Jack. They were really not dressed for battle and sorta threw me out of the game play. "Really? You would wear that in the middle of a gunfight?" I had to scratch off Jack, because she was just so crazy I really didn't worry. Besides when my Shepard did say something .... she just looked at him, flipped him off as she said "**** off, Shepard!" OK, I get it ... Crazy is a protective suit, just ask the guy on Feros in the tunnels.
