What I meant is if Ashley is now a spectre she has proven not only her worth to the Alliance but also to the council. Given the "Grandpa Williams" shadow, this would mean a lot to Ash and as a result she would also be proud of herself .... Some individuals when they feel better about themselves start to dress up and take more time on their personal appearance (new hairdo, clothes, makeup, weight loss, jewelry ... oh, a friend says SHOES).

Being a Spectre >>>>> getting a makeover because "ooh, look at me, I'm a Spectre!"  Ashley KNOWS what being a Spectre entails, so she knows it's not something to celebrate, especially since she's essentially Shepard's replacement.  Maybe there's a little pride in that, but really, you know she only got it because she worked with Shepard and they wanted a new Alliance poster child.  She'd see through the political BS in a minute, no matter how qualified she is.  NOT shopping spree material.

Council: Congratulations, you've been selected to take Shepard's place and save the galaxy!
Ash: .... Ffffffffffff--

Now my Shepard loves Ash any way he can get her ... As long as her lips and legs don't change the boy is happy!

I'd be more concerned about her spunk and strength, but they're using the same face model, so she'll be fine.

Also, everyone in the ME universe has FABULOUS legs.  Seriously, everyone.  Even Legion has a beautiful ass.

Oh, and after reading your dialogue, my Shep now hates taking back his Spectre status.

I don't mind Ash's new look, I hope it's not combat but I've got nothing against it otherwise. What I worry about is Bioware drastically changing the character as well. I liked Ash, and while I would like some character development (it has been 2-3 years) I don't want her to suddenly be a tart or another Miranda (Miranda is Miranda and she's damn good at it let Ash be Ash). Same with Kaidan I liked him in ME1 and really hope he's essentially the same character. Basically I worry that rather than changing the garnish and adding seasoning to the characters Bioware's gonna change the whole damn recipe.

I don't see what the big deal is. I love her new look and don't see much difference than her old look. I think most Ash fans are okay with it (the ones I talk to anyway). They took her hair down and gave her breasts a lift and put her in SLIGHTLY more form fitting attire. Get over it.

Sure, but it's even better to love the person who they are attached to. 

It aint just about the boobs, it's about the woman.    I think that's what you're missing from the points people here are trying to make.  Ashley's new boobs don't look like they belong on her.  She was originally portrayed BY BIOWARE as a strong, self assured woman, the breast enlargement wasn't necessary for her character's development.

Problem A. When you have an RPG like Mass Effect where the party members are a big part of the game, you can't just change their appearence whenever the hell you feel like it.
Problem B. We already have Miranda. You don't need Ashely to look like Miranda.
Problem C. How the hell is that thing supposed to block bullets?!
Problem D. We don't need a pallet swapped Miranda wearing Samus' zero suit.
Problem E. Enough with the over sexualization already. Miranda's ass was already going to far, so don't keep doing it.
I just want Ash to look and act like she did in ME1 and ME2. Just change her model back to how it was and keep her personality as it was and Don't zoom in on her ass or boobs that are 3 times the size of an average human.
