Honestly, we don't know, but it's less than likely.  We haven't seen uniforms or casual outfits for any other character so far, only armor (heck the only pic we've seen of Anderson he's wearing armor)  THis leads me to believe that "what you see is what you get"

In addition, squadmates/companions in ME 2 (and DA2) didn't have casual clothes. 

The best we can probably hope for is that this outfit is like Aveline's starting look:  Refugee without acess to armor, but will get some welded on as soon as she's somewhere safe.

Miranda was a new character, Isabella already had a sl*tty history in DAO. Ash has a history as a non sl*t so you can't use these examples. If Bioware had actually retconned a character to be more sl*tty, then you might have a point.

Also wearing a tight fitting leather suit isn't sl*tty.

Ashley has a history of wearing armor and smack talking those that demean themselves to sell their bodies as sex objects. ME3 Ashley refuses to wear armor and is demeaning herself to sell her body as a sex object.

Which is what I'm trying to explain to some of the more naive ones in this bunch. They simply blind themselves  to the truth and ignore blantant examples of Bioware doing this in the past. Such as Miranda and Isabella which the same people assured the rest of us that what those two wore into battle wasen't those outfits. They were wrong than and they're wrong now.

ME2 and DA2 set the presidence for how Bioware handles Squaddies for ME3. That and we've already seen Liara not getting an outfit switch for battle. Furthermore Kaiden's "Armor" has the same symbols as Ashley's catsuit. Thus it's her defaukt ****suit she'll wear in battle, in space, and on the normandy.

Has anyone really thought about how she may of just.. Changed? It was 2 years between ME1 and ME2, then we only saw her in an area which required battle armour. I knew really innocent people that over a 2-3 year period they have changed completely!
We also know barely anything about ME3, who says they havnt now got a battle suit and a casual suit for the Normandy to feel comfy? Other than that she still doesn't look attractive.
Some of these comments do make me /facepalm though, why do people get SO upset over such small changes?

Changes nothing. Samara mentions that she's been with many men/women and has had a couple children. Her outfit is inappropiate but since she's an alien Bioware was allowed to get away with it.

Merril has more cloths on her body than Miranda and Isabella put together.

Well good news for you! Bioware is ****ting up the women to show more boobies to appease your low sex drive!

So she didn't change at all in ME2 yet in ME3 she suddenly changes without explanation? That's just bad writing and you would be a sucker to just shrug your shoulders and believe it.

This isn't a small change. Ashley was a Soldier now she's a ****. That's a big change.

Because its the internet and I am always MOAR RIGHT.
(Obvious sarcasm is obvious?)

To answer your question though, I think she may have just changed too. Does it bother me nah, she went through alot, who knows what shepards death and supposed betrayal did to her. and people are upset becuase it upsets the plan. As joker said all you need it a little push.
