Is it really fair to attack the GI preview of Ashley as being dramatically oversexualized?

I noticed that you don't make mention of the others that have done as such. Hell, there's a poist I quoted with someone calling me a moron. Kinda funny how that works, right?

You are too easily drawn into personal fights. We should all remember this thread is about Ashley, not about an user being this and another user being that.

Wow almost at 30 pages plus lots of other threads. Has this even been confirmed as her actual combat suit or are people just jumping to conclusions?

I've read through this entire thread and every other post from you is insulting someone.  This is not the way to debate a subject, as the Mod pointed out.

There's been no confirmation one way or another and it has some people worried.  For myself I have no problem with Ash having her hair down, but if that is indeed what she would wear in combat then yes, I do have a problem with that.  Hopefully that is simply what she wears on the Normandy and not in combat, but I have to admit that it does seem out of character for her, its too form hugging etc.

I hope they do change Ash's outfit. And make it even more sexy and revealing. Just to hurt you Midget. I will collect your tears of prude rage as they fall.

Another ignorant and selfish post made by you? Why am I not surprised. Though this is just like you. When you lose an arguement you than turn it into you and the guy that bested you with his/her surperior intelligence. News flash the majority here want Ashley in armor as well and not just me. So next time try and think before you make such ignorant posts.

Then the majority can cry hater tears, for they are sweet.
The only thing I don't want them to change is her personality, I can stand her being in a form fitting outfit but if she becomes meek or an ice queen I will minor rageface but then shrug and continue playing the game.

Possibly, but in this case I think it's better to be wrong now than right later. Image IPB

Jumping to conclusions.

As the Devil's advocate, we can't entirely say it's a baseless assumption: the screenshot of Kaidan's battle-ready, we have a screenshot of Liara fighting Cerberus in her lab coat (or whatever it is, but no doubt it's not an armor) and both Mass2 and DA2 had a fixed, unchangeable party wardrobe.

Still, I've come to realise something: If Ash is butchered, I'll just import a save where I rescued Kaidan and romanced Miri. No harm done to Ash since she's been long vaporized.:wizard:

Indeed.  I remember a few threads complaining that the VS was not in Arrival and I pointed out (though my post was promptly burried by two people bickering) that part of the problem is that between ME:1 and ME:2 Bioware changed Liara's character, the changes kinda make sense with the back story she was given, but she was changed.  If Bioware feels free to alter one character whats to stop them doing it to another? And whats to say that the changes would be liked?  Had the VS been in Arrival for example then people would have some indication of the direction that Bioware are taking them and people could voice praise or concerns, as it is all we have to go on was the badly written Horizon bit and if Bioware changes the VS for ME:3 complaining after the fact is a bit redundant.

The fears of the VS being changed are not completely unfounded.

Again with you looking the pther way. So that person didn't say I was a moron? Or all those others that insulted my intelligence because I don't care like they don't? Or the person that insulted me than said she was leaving but she lied and kept coming back? No, those didn't happen. Not in Dave's eyes... OHWAIT! They did happen! Dave just looks the other way AGAIN.

Typical Dave. Never contributeing and continueing his personal selfish and unprovoked crusade against me and patting the backs of those that insult those I agree with.

FYI: A lot of people posting here, don't seem to realize something: women GET SEXIER IN REAL LIFE; a woman I know gained like 40 pounds, and it went to all the right places. No joke. Hollywood & magazine covers can shove it. Random hormone spikes can do it. And pregnancy, besides improving their hair and skin...

Here are my thoughts on Ash's new appearance, and my Feedback to Bioware:

Ashley was sexy despite design limitations in ME1. Every woman shouldn't look Identical... I liked Ashley's personality, especially her cynicism (that get's proven correct in ME2, by the way, racist my **S). How she looks in that picture doesn't change her personality, I think it'll be a generous improvement to my mASS EffECT experience (lol). Especially if she is a Spectre now, than it makes sense for her to wear this (it's the future, ex: look at Emily Wong's clothes)!

What would really bother me, is if she doesn't wear proper armor in battle. In ME1, characters had a different outfit on the Normany than what they wore on missions; this'd better be hers. Look at the Kestral armor, compared to other armors on Fem-Shep in ME2, she looks flatter, a realistic touch. Just make sure that what we saw is her out-of-combat outfit, Bioware folks. If not, than at least, put in a codex entry explaining how futuristic materials make catsuits that can withstand bullets, and how Mass-Effect fields protect people from Vaccum etc?

So, Ash had a kid between ME 1 and ME3?  Plot twist!

Umm, does that mean a bunch of maleSheps are gonna have to take a paternity test...?

You get told to stop the personal attacks and now this?  Seriously?  As for not contributing, you do realize that in the very quote you used I contributed to the discussion and also in the post above yours.

Personal attack? Please, Dave. You would know if I made a personal attack. That was just stateing the type of character you are. You always look the other way when people agree with you but the moment someone disagrees? They are breaking the rules and those that are trash talking them are to be rewarded by you.

So again. You contribute nothing.

Perhaps I should have phrased that differently... The women I was talking about, I know from College, and she didn't have a kid. Lots of things make women look better; random hormone spikes even.

That's only for physical changes. Ashley was already a grown woman in ME1 and in ME2 she hadnt' changed at all. It was 2 years later and she was still the same. Than a year later after ME2 she's suddenly wearing a catsuit she said that she would never wear? That's just bad writing.

Ok I'm gonna give you the same excuse people gave me for why she didn't change between ME 1 and 2 cause it would be been a waste of resources for a character who was only in for a cameo apperance. If you notice Ashely, Kaidan and Liara pre-Shadow Broker didn't have updated appearances. It was only when Shadow Broker was released that Liara changed her make-up and such. For the record I like Ash's new softer look, but wouldn't be against Bioware putting her in armor like Miranda's dlc armor as an exmaple.

That wouldn't be the first time. I can't get over how the squadmates who favored keeping the CB have a complete mind crush later on and are suddenly against it.

Ohhhhhhh I see.  So that full-armor that we see Kaidan wearing in several images isn't going to be confirmed as his actual armor EITHER?   Okay, I see your logic now

And that Kaidan shot was the very first image we saw of him in ME3 too.

So you're saying that the retcon is okay because they can afford it now and that if we want armor we should have to pay extra and buy the DLC? Really, that's your solution?
