Hi All,

Having just made a great club in the toolset, I checked it in the game and the information on it is incorrect. i.e. It says it is a small weapon and does 1d6 (like a normal club). It needs to say Large weapon and 1d10 damage.

I checked the baseitems.2da and the information for a greatclub appears correct to me. Is this information being applied anywhere else in the game? Another 2da somewhere?

Many thanks.

Lance.

Its a dialog.tlk issue.

Great club is not enabled in game by default, you have to enable it by changing 2da's, and you have to adjust core library scripts and add fighter feats for it to work properly.

Hi Pain,

Is there nowhere we can redirect the tlk description to one of our own? It does not appear to relate to the baseitems decsription. Image IPB EDIT: SCRAP THAT - I FOUND IT IN THE BASEITEMS 2DA. Image IPB It had a BaseItemStatsRef pointing to 5410, which I can easily amend. I should be able to use value 5424.

As far as I can see, all the rest can be handled by the baseitems.2da with respect to feats (it looks as though it requires martial or rogue proficiency). Or have I missed something?

EDIT 2: I see that you cannot take focus/specialisation/etc type feats in this weapon ... is that the problem you mean? Funny enough, according to the clas_feat_fight.2da, the fighter is supposed to get these by default, but that does not appear to be the case as far as I can see as they do not list in the feats acquired. I guess I will make this weapon "unavailable" or only available as an "improvised weapon" that cannot be trained further in.

Many thanks.

Lance.

EDIT 3: Here is my greatclub description: "A greatclub is considered a crude and cumbersome weapon, normally favored by monsters. As such, it is not possible to improve ones ability in this weapon beyond its basic function."
