Just bought on the sale last week. Just installed today.

Went to play through Steam and got this error,

Failed to compile global shader TPixelShader<16>

I have no idea what that means and can't even find others that have had the same problem which is quite worrying!!

My bad my specs are

windows 7
PII x4 3.5Ghz
4GB RAM DDR3
6950 2GB Shaders Unlocked
Driver 11.4

Asked around on the Steam forum and got no response was hoping somebody here might know something.

At a guess i'd try installing the 1.02 patch manually. A few people who bought it off steam have had problems and solved it by doing this. Seems steam doesn't install the patch properly like it's supposed to.

I actually tried to install the patch but I get an error!! That could be the issue. Odd nobody else has documented such an issue.
I am going to get AMD driver 11.5 anyways and will do another fresh install. Hope that helps I will be back if it doesn't!!
