 I'm a brazilian huuuge Bioware's fan and Mass Effect is the best franchise that I ever play...

Its amazing how the game transport us to the adventure...living a 2nd life into the Shepard eyes...

Subtitles in portuguese to Mass Effect 3 is the dream of sooooooo many gamers in Brazil...I really hope that Bio and EA give to us this chance to prove how strong the Video Game's market can be here...

Mass Effect 2 was the game of my life and the hype to ME3 is soooooooo intense...

Thanks to you Bio guys to present the gamers with this incredible serie and a lot others great games...

I support this. We don't need the audio as it's much better playing with audio in the native language because of lips synch. But subtitles in other languages is always welcome.

Maybe you can put the subtitles for the games distributed in Brazil. This would be an incentive for the sales here as for now most of us import our games instead of buying in local stores. And remember, now we have Live Brazil also.

I'd be fine with it, but I'm also fine without since I learned English, but I have the problem to recommend it to some friends because they don't know the language.

Maybe EAbr could do this, but I think they're not officially here anymore so the situation is much harder now.

Bioware,
in Brazil there are thousands of players from Mass Effect and many fans
of the franchise, but like any good RPG player knows that to engage in
history may have to master the English language very well, thus making
the withdrawal and to a smaller audience the game, as those who do not
speak the language can not play.

Please there is still time to make the legend (PT-BR or PT-PT)

Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect were released by EA here in Brazil.

I'm Commander Shepard and I support portuguese subtitles for ME3.

Jokes aside, even though I understand English perfectly, I support adding portuguese subtitles for ME3. This will make the game much more popular in my country (Brazil). Just as an example, Blizzard already did this with Starcraft 2 and will soon release WoW in full PT-BR. Starcraft 2's launch was a success here, currently holding the title of PC game with biggest number of sales in history in Brazil (don't remeber exaclty where I read that).

However, unlike Blizzard, which did a full localization (audio and text), I think that only subtitles is good enough.

Also, considering the size of Brazil's economy and potential costumers, and the low cost of doing such a translation, I think it would be a bad idea not doing it.

Batman Arkhan City, Assassins Creed BrotherHood and Revelations, Uncharted 3, Gears of War 3, StarCraft II, Diablo III, World of Warcraft... all these, plus some were translated. Each one giving a good financial return. Why not, Bioware / EA?

I support the addition of Brazilian Portuguese subtitles in Mass Effect 3.

I`m a long time fan and supporter of Mass Effect Franchise (games, books, comics). Its an amazing story, a real classic of our time - and its a reason good enough for everyone to play it (and understand all the deepness of this epic narrative). So, please Bioware, add Brazilian Portuguese subtitles in Mass Effect 3 (we don`t need narration , only the subtitles would make a huge difference in our market).

No, it's a terrible country full of ignorant people like you who would support this ridiculous, game-ruining suggestion, instead of just learning the damn English language. It's much easier to learn than portuguese.

Subtitles are often terribly written, and tend to distract from the main game. Most people from other countries look for ways to remove subtitles to improve their game.

And i would never, ever, vouch for Portuguese subtitles.
It would ruin an otherwise fantastic game for many brazillians, who are easily convinced by anything written in Portuguese.

I'm brazilian too and don't give a damn about translations, because most of the time the local developers screw things very bad.
Just ask the polish or germans fans about it, I hear complains all the time.

And this doesn't apply only to games or movies in english. Iranian, czech, bosnian and even swedish movies are horrible when dubbed, english or not.
Better turn on the subtitles and deal with it.

And how about learn a new language, is good for your mind BTW.
