Casey Hudson just confirmed he hates Mass Effect 2 and is denying every single character from that game, with the exception of Tali and Garrus, from returning. Also, Miranda, Jack, Jacob, and Thane will be killed offscreen and your new LI will be made Liara no matter what.

     



Well we shall see at E3 won't we .  If Bioware screws us ME 2 fans they will feel our rage

Interesting; it looks like the roles are reversed now. I can't say that this reversal is entirely unexpected. Pre-ME2, this thread would have read, "Bioware, where is my ME1 team? I don't want to be stuck with the ME2 team." And they were told to suck it up then and be happy with their cameos. A number of people warned that if the ME1 team could be cast aside so easily, don't get too comfortable with the ME2 squad. It's bitter being fed one's own medicine. Now, I don't say this to be cruel as I actually do like the vast majority of the ME2 team and really want to see most of them back in action. I hope some people realize the irony of this situation and might have more patience and compassion, in the future, when someone pines for their favorite character whose status is in question...regardless the game. As a fan of both sets of squadmates, the ME1/ME2 bickering has been ridiculous. Then again I really shouldn't be surprised, this being the BSN after all... >.>

You completely missed the point.

Eradyn is saying that this is pre-ME2 all over again.  It would suck hard for Mordin and Legion to get VS'd, and I really hope BW won't do that again, but we all need to learn to swallow our pride and accept the fact that not all of us are going to get what we want.  I managed to get lucky with Garrus twice now, but Wrex?  Wrex was my absolute favorite.  Hopefully, everyone who isn't a squaddie again will at least be treated with the same dignity as that badass krogan.

Also, bear in Mind that Garrus was never officially announced for ME2.

This is really, really important to remember. Fans were crying, rending their flesh, drukenly staggering through the streets cursing God's name, and then suddenly BOOM. He's back. Second goddam recruitment mission in the game. You could even do him first! 

So even if Miranda is NEVER ANNOUNCED she could still be in the game, as permanent squaddie, from the start. Take several thousand chill pills, basically.

I was mostly referring to the phenomenom of passionate fans of ME1 vs ME2
squaddies. Ya know, team Jacob vs team Edward. So in ME1 who would be
Edward?

To topic, yeh I hope Miranda is back, liked her story, she was easy to look at and I liked her powers in combat. All you could ask for in a squadmate.

101, you should seriously think about calming down. It's still May, for Heaven's sake.
Bioware is not kicking us out the door. In fact, out of the ME2 exclusive squadmates, Miranda and Jack are the ones who had the most info released about them.
Granted, it wasn't much, but we are not being neglected. Geez.
