Haha a whole lot of the Mass Effect fanbase was begging for lots of Mass Effect 1 characters to be in Mass Effect 3 as squaddies but now people aren't happy with that.
Personally I'm not sure what I want...I'm hoping there are more new companions than old ones.

They are never going to please everyone. I loved the ME 2 squad and hope many return but if not as long as they deliver a quality game I have no objections.SkittlesKat96 wrote...

Has it occurred to you that the people complaining about the lack of ME2 squaddies aren't the same people who complained about the lack of ME1 squaddies? The thing about forums is they're often just used as a lobby. The people who feel wronged or want something come out and post, giving the impression of a majority. When they get they want, but then alienate a group that WAS satisfied and silent, then the formerly-satisfied group comes out to complain because they liked it how it was before the other group complained and got their way. It's a dumb cycle with nobody really winning in the end, but yeah, that's how forum fanbases, and trying to appease them, works. Companies should never cater solely to complaint-feedback, or forum politics, regardless of which side of the fence it may be on. That's not to say it should be ignored, but it's unwise to put too much investment in such feedback, IMO. I mean, if you only believed the forums, you'd think 90% of the playerbase prefers FemShep, but metrics show the majority actually plays Sheploo, surprisingly.
