I figured this was the most appropriate forum to ask this since it's essentially a 'build' or 'strategy' question... of sorts.

Anyhoo, I'm having a problem nailing the exact syntax for certain items. I can get a few of the 'giveall' ones working but that just crowds my inventory with thousands of useless items I then have spend ages getting rid of.

Specifically I'm trying to get just one of a certain item. I've looked through online guides but they all only give basic information and I just can't seem to piece it together correctly given there's zero margin for error in the syntax.

Here's a list of specific items I'd like to acquire without filling my inventory with thousands of variants (all of these should be level 10 versions):

Rosenkov weapons (all of them, but would like to know how to get individual ones).

Predator armors for specific characters.

Colossus armors for specific characters.

Specific armor and weapon mods.

Specific bioamps and omnitools.

If someone would be kind enough to give me the proper codes for these, it would be much appreciated.

And just for the record, I've played ME1 and ME2 through to the end several times, so no ****ing to me about cheating :P

I can help you with armor, which is the most important thing for me in ME1. Just because of the looks.

The other stuff, no idea. I just cheat money and buy whatever is available.
Guns, aside from very little color variation, they all look the same.

ME1 console command codes:

No extra weapons
Shepard
Handgun: giveitem self 1 gethgun_drone manf_hk_weap
Assault Rifle: giveitem self 1 gethgun_hopper manf_hk_weap
Sniper Rifle: giveitem self 1 gethgun_sniper manf_hk_weap
Shotgun: giveitem self 1 gethgun_shotgun manf_hk_weap

Companions
Handgun: giveitem target 1 gethgun_drone manf_hk_weap
Assault Rifle: giveitem target 1 gethgun_hopper manf_hk_weap
Sniper Rifle: giveitem target 1 gethgun_sniper manf_hk_weap
Shotgun: giveitem target 1 gethgun_shotgun manf_hk_weap

Give Armor
Shepard
giveitem self #(level) light_armor (medium_armor / heavy_armor) manf code

shepard example:
giveitem self 10 light_armor manf_hkshadow_armor_spectre

Companions
giveitem target # humanL (quarian / turian / krogan) (m / h) manf code

Liara example: giveitem target 10 humanL Manf_HK_Armor_Ursa

Wrex example: giveitem target 10 kroganH Manf_Ariake_Armor_Mercenary

Armor codes
Mercenary: levels 4 - 10

Guardian: levels 1 - 10

Gladiator: levels 1 - 10

Thanks for that. It was little things like "light_armor" (I was using just "armor") that seems to have been what was screwing up. I still can't seem to get the rosenkov guns. I got them once, somehow, and then it never seems to work after that.

You're welcome.
One thing I noticed about the armor, at least in the pieces I've cheated, they work for the alien races. The only restriction is the type of armor (light, medium, heavy)

I look at my inventory and I see something like "light armor - any - X Ursa". I can give it to Wrex xD

Holy crap!

I've had to have played ME1 through to the end about six times and at least a dozen aborted attempts from a quarter to three-quarters through, and yet I have NEVER seen that Spectre armor! Best looking armor in the game, by a massive long-shot! I so don't care that colossus is better stats.

Is there a legitimate way to get that armor? How have I missed it all these times? Is it just ultra, ultra rare?

No, there's no "legit" way to get that armor. Only with the console :(

Check out the wiki page. There are other pieces you could get.

That's bizarre! Why have so many cool armors hidden from regular play?
