There are a few of these compiled armour lists floating around already, but I figured I'd share my own.  Call me inane, but I prefer to look at textures on a neutral background with little lighting information. :P

What you are looking at are the game meshes and textures in the 3DS Max viewport.  The meshes were imported into 3DS Max with a maxscript.  Diffuse and specular texture maps were then applied to the model using Laurens Corijn's Xioliul real-time viewport shader.  (No normal maps because it would take a while to convert Bioware's orange normal maps into the regular purple ones that work correctly with the shader, and this is just a simple overview.)  Renders of the viewport were taken with Leslie Vandenbroek's GrabViewport Script.

I've also listed the filenames for the meshes and the diffuse texture maps which correspond to them next to each armour.  I made notes to instances where texture maps were not named with the correct naming convention and when texture maps were being shared by different models.

Rolling updates.  If anyone has requests, I'll happily take them provided I have access to the requested models and textures.

Just a note, there's apparently a tool to do that automatically: http://social.biowar...m/project/4062/

I know and I actually do use that converter.  It doesn't do it in big batches though.

Thanks, these are great references!

I never paid much attention since I was too busy trying not to be killed by the assassins, but the light/medium male dwarf armors are pretty nice, much nicer than anything my rogue gets to wear. I find the general body shape a lot more appealing than the super-heroic body type they game human males in this game too... anyway.

Ugh, this took a bit longer than expected.  Textures are everywhere, filenames don't match up, or mesh names and texture file names are incorrect.  Anyways.  I hope you like scrolling!

Yeah, I find the male dwarf body much more appealing than than the human male one in terms of physique.  It leans more towards an endomorphic body type, which I quite like and see as more suited for a life of hard work.  The human male physique just reminds me too much of a swimmer's, which seems out of place to me.

*cheers* Can't wait for the human males! I'm already thinking about how I'm going to fit these to the elf bodies :P

Photobucket shrinks images something fierce... is there any chance you could pack up the original files and release them as a resource on DANexus, for example?

Hahahah, the original files are huuuuuuge, but if you're interested I'd be more than happy to put them together and upload a .zip once I get the human male armour done. :)

These files are amazing. Thank you!

Edit: If anyone is looking for the templateresref codes for the human Origins-styled massive armor to either edit your .das or summon them with Vaddi, here they are.

Gloves: gen_im_arm_glv_hvy_act2_03
Boots: gen_im_arm_boo_hvy_act2_03
Chest: gen_im_arm_cht_hvy_act1_02

Note that MATERIALTYPE 2000 will give you standard, silver plate. If you're using Vaddi, the chestplate will appear with MATERIALTYPE 2002, which is a tan tint.

Have the male human armors been uploaded/zipped anywhere? Getting back into the DA2 modding phase. :3

What is the templateresref code for the last two female elf robes? The one that looks like Marethari's robe and the one before that?
