The talent reads as follows:

Dual-Weapon Expert

  • Passive
  • Requires: Level 9
  • Requires: 26 Dexterity
  • Requires: Expert Combat Training
The character has significant experience with two-weapon fighting, gaining a bonus to critical chance, as well as a possibility with each hit to inflict bleeding lacerations that continue to damage a target for a time.


The problem is that when the lacerations proc, they appear on the chracter with the talent instead of (or -in addition to- I can't tell) the character's target. Yes I know that enemies have some of the same skill sets as are available to player characters, but this happens even when fighting wolves, bears, trees, and so on. I'm assuming those enemies don't dual-wield.  I'd avoid the talent altogether if id wasn't for the fact that it is a prerequisite for Dual-Weapon Mastery.

I'm not sure if this has been addressed yet as I couldn't find a post about it, but it definitely needs to be fixed.

It looks like this only occurs while running Blood Frenzy. As soon as combat initiates, any damage done by Blood Frenzy appears to count as damage done to oneself and thus procs Dual Weapon Expert lacerations.

i posted it there also. its seems blood thirst triggers it as well. im pretty sure any self inflicting buff will trigger this effect if its true that blood frenzy has this issue also. looks like i am going to have to respec out of my dw warrior and go with daggers and avoid the exper/master skills until its fixed.
