Is anyone else seeing a bunch of problems with squadmate behavior after installing Arrival. It's pretty consistent and occurs throughout the game, almost as if the DLC included a poorly debugged patch on the 360. (I have a few friends with the PC version, and they haven't had similar problems.) Specifics include:

1 - Activating a squadmate power over-rides and cancels any movement in progress, be it commanded or automatic. Before installing Arrival squadmates could use powers on the move without any problems.

2 - Squadmates stop 2-3 steps short of the location designated by a 'move' command and crouch rather than entering cover. They then proceed to attack as if they are in the open rather than behind cover.

3 - Squadmates prefer taking cover "behind" the first usable facing they encounter within a certain radius of the move destination, rather than completing the move command first.

4 - Squadmates enter cover facing the 'right hand' side a cover surface (i.e. a column) that does not require crouching behind, despite the command being located on the left side. Possibly related: Shepard will frequently (if randomly) use the 'right edge' animations when on the left edge of a cover surface.

5 - Squad members won't auto-use powers or fire on enemies in cover. Possibly related to problem #2.

6 - Squad members break cover and charge past / between multiple opponents in cover. Seems to happen more often with 'glass cannon' type squad mates such as Miranda, Thane, Mordin, etc. than combat oriented ones like Garrus and Jacob. Feels almost like a poorly implemented automatic flanking script than a bug.

7 - Using the D-pad to activate mapped powers results in a movement command despite having an adversary highlighted.

I'm going try offloading Arrival to a memory stick, clearing the cache, and reinstalling ME2 from the game disks to see if that fixes the squadmate AI problem. If it does, I probbably won't be putting Arrival back onto my 360 hard disk since the squadmate issues are almost crippling for non-soldier classes on Hardcore difficulty.

Edit: Turns out I had the difficulty set to Insanity and didn't realize it. The problems definitely still exist on Hardcore, they just aren't as noticeable or instantly fatal on Hardcore. Definitely feels like something was tweaked and not checked/debugged fully before going out the door.

I only noticed that squad mates don't stay in cover. It seems that if enemy powers blast them back they don't re-enter cover.

Very annoying.

Shooting at enemies outside of a fairly narrow (maybe 30 degree) cone in front of and level with the cover location also seems to pop them out of cover.

Getting rid of Arrival didn't seem to fix anything. Not sure if it's because I tried being clever with moving it to a removable USB instead of deleting it outright or not.

Deleting everything, clearing the cache, and starting a new game off of the base discs with no ethernet connection still exhibits the same problems with squadmate AI that showed up after buying arrival.

Starting to wonder if Arrival contained a game update the 360 doesn't know how to delete properly.
