Ideas on DA2 story improvements

I think not meeting Meredith (not counting the opening sequence of Act 1) and Orsino (not counting Night Tremors) until the end of Act 2 was a huge mistake. Also there should have been only one boss based on pro templar or pro-mage.

If you're going pro-templar then Orsion is an arch villan to you the entire game or Meredith for pro-mage so by the time of show down your so ready to lob their head off it isn't funny. Orsino has idol staff for pro-templar and Meredith idol sword for pro-mage. If you're pro-templar then Orsino helped and posibly encouraged the blood mage that kills your mother, where as if your pro-mage Meredith purposefully allowed him to stay free and ordered templars to not harass him. Insert other things as well, but those are just examples.

Also where if you skip companion quests there should have been dialogue options to discuss how they went and did stuff without your help.

I think that would have plugged up alot of story holes. I did notice going through as pro-templar the final scene make alot more sense, which is kinda weird as I get the impression that the writers were pro-mage in their writing but the pro-mage ending makes the least sense.
