Are you happy with what you've heard of the game so far? What specifically are you still concerned about?

-Two screensots? Looks interesting. Wait, who's that... YAAAAAAY!
You see, crazy fangirl is simple when it comes to complete happiness. Other things: homeworlds - good, more powers - very good, deeper dialogues - it's about time. So far I'm completely excited and likely will preorder

Indeed. This Child of Bha-err, I Alliance soldier will pose no threat to our plans.

- That The Reapers' motivations will be overexplained and no longer at all "beyond our comprehension"
That´s of course a legit concern, and it would surely add to the mysticism of the Reapers if their motivations would remain "beyond our comprehension" for the most part, but people generally want to know for sure what something happened...
And the Reapers also thought they´d be unbeatable, so yeah, they may be mistaken a second time =)
I for one like everything I heard so far, and hope that what was said is also the truth (concerning the RPG elements...)!
And as long as there´s a comeback for most characters (in whichever form - but of course, justifiable regarding their importance!), I´m good!

I think some people are being way too concerned. BioWare know exactly what we liked and didn't like from ME2. We can be sure they'll deliver on those improvements. Now look. The Mass Effect series now has hundreds of storylines, characters and endings. It's virtually impossible to fit everything in for the final game. But BioWare have been building up to this since 2005 - they know what they're doing. Anyway, a lot of the concerns listed here are ones that BioWare have already addressed. They're aiming to recapture the feel of ME1 this time. They've said that the game won't punish you for being a Renegade. Combat locations will be more believable. The Hammerhead won't return. The game will have better RPG elements than ME1 & 2. Some of you seem to think that RPG means stats and loot, though.
Where does the hundred ending fact come from ? There are 2 endings for mass effect 3 a good one and a bad one lolz. They can always do it like Fallout 3 and make the ending sequence modular giving you info what happened in your game like which chars died, which races got destroyed, etc.
How is making the gameplay more action oriented and more Gears of war like with less RPG elemets going to recapture the feel of ME1
About the OP question Im happy about the weapons customization info but im not happy about the rest:
- making the game even more shooter centric Gears of Effect or Mass of War style
- giving all classes access to all weapons ( it gives customization options but running an all AR team is silly )
- more melee and shooting limbs ( ME2 only worked for robots anyway)
- jumping and rolling
- fear of yor choices from previous games having no importance once again.

Concerns:
Tali as a squadmate. Two games is enough and while Garrus is also in all three games, he's a better character so I can live with that. Tali was by far the least interesting character of ME1 and while they improved her for ME2, she's still among my least favourite. Not that I hate Tali, I'm just indifferent about her. I'd prefer they fill a squad slot with a character I like instead of one I couldn't care less about.
But I admit that's a very selfish concern. Something more people will be able to relate to is the way Mass Effect 2 was treated on PC. Even though BioWare said it's not a port, it clearly was. The user interface was a disaster and I hope that this time they will at least add mouse wheel support in menus and menu shortcuts.

Also, somewhat James Vega (I got Grunt, why the hell do I need another tank squaddie?)
Actually, yeah, I forgot this one. Moreso because it just sounds like he's a Marcus Fenix clone shoved into Mass Effect. Seriously... content and style wise, Mass Effect needs to less Gears of War, not more. Thick-necked space marine style characters are beyond a cliche these days too.
Another one I forgot was ME3 having no new love interests whatsoever, which in turn pretty much means next to no chance of having proper same-sex relationship options unless they suddenly make existing characters bi.

from the wiki
James Vega is a human Systems Alliance soldier, and potential squad member in Mass Effect 3.[1]
While Vega is an experienced soldier, he is unfamiliar with the seedy underbelly and political workings of the galaxy.
Vega is Shepard, when the Commander first stepped onto the Citadel, not realizing how screwed up things really are in the Universe. It's a great way to show how you've grown, via seeing the reactions of a person whose just stepping into a larger universe.

In addition to the above, I am concerned about:iakus wrote...
So far I like what I'm hearing, assuming the promises are not empty ones of course.
I have three major concerns though
1) That we may be stuck dealing with petty or comparatively minor threats while the Reapers have their way with the galaxy. Yeah they are the main bad guys, but so were the Collectors on ME2.
2) I fear for the squad outfits. I seriously hope they at least look functional as armor
3) I fear some questions may never be answered. I have a bunch. About the Reapers, about the Lazarus Project, about the Illusive Man. I would hate to see them swept under the rug on favor of more "awesome" action
* Possible lack of space exploration.
* That the game will be too focused on combat (i.e. excessive amounts of shooting).
* Chris L'Etoile's characters; namely, Thane, Ashley, Legion, and EDI. With their original writer gone, I'm concerned they might experience some OOC moments come ME3.
* Possible soundtrack inconsistency with Jack Wall's work.
* FemShep not getting proper animations.
Other than that, I'm very pleased. A lot of amazing things I never thought I would hear have been confirmed for ME3.
