So here I am ranting the fact that I just lost my femshep for the second time due to HDD problems (one due to my fault and one due to just a lame hard drives). So in a way I'm glad that ME3 doesn't come out till 2012 because I once again need to sculpt my femshep to perfection....I mean I love ME but I do have other games that I now have to start completely over with.....O_O

I empathisize with the OP, nearly lost my own saves a few weeks back but I luckily backed up all the saves shortly prior to a HD failure.

OP, you could save yourself a bit of headache if you don't want to replay ME1.

Go to http://www.masseffectsaves.com/

Find a savegame that has the choices your Shepard made, import it to ME2 and just rebuild the face to your liking.. that way only have to replay ME2. (Though I'd still replay ME1 personally, still fun for me even after dozens of playthroughs heh).

I highly recommend to use your email account to save your games, so this won't happen again. Those files are really small
