So i choose to stay in denerim and not follow her, but i wonder.. how the story plays out if you tell alistair your going after her ? on my end it just mentioned she was seen in the frostback mountains carrying a child and that my PC had many adventures to come, whats the difference in the ends ?

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. The Epilogues ignore it.

I choose to romance her to the end, the Epilogue made just a mention of feeling sorrow through the ring.

That part of the story hasn't been written.  Maybe it ends with a white wedding, kids, and a mobari in the yard.  That's how I imagine it for my character....

When she came out with that choice, I seriously got angry with the game and it ruined my whole day. True story.

I always imagined it being a knife in the back, with my character being left in the woods unconcious after that gets healed.

But that's really just another beginning.

What you say in the epilogue/party seems to have nothing to do with the ending text as far as I can tell. I'd have to look through the data files to be sure.



If you have the ring and tell her you are going to look for her you get a message about her feeling regret and sorrow while thinking of you. I think the epilogues are kinda buggy though, so certain flags may get cleared by accident depending on what you say near the end of the game.



And I think the part with her heading over the mountains implies she is pregnant, not that she's already had the kid.

the choice itself didnt surprise me, her leaving etc fits her, the part where she basicaly goes asking for a grey warden with a erection to get the ritual done was ... cold water , it just doesnt fit a possesive woman like her and it broke my PC heart a bit , i even reloaded to to accept her proposal without that being mentioned, gz to bioware to put such straong emotions in a videogame.

yeah sorry english isnt my mother language, what i ment by carrying a child was that she was pregnant, i did tell her however that i would follow her and i have the ring, but that part you mention about her sorrow didnt pop up to me.

I wouldn't expect DLC to wrap up Morrigan's tale. If anything, the choice made with Morrigan is something that will come back via a full blown xpack or in DA2 [should that occur] - it's something akin to the Bhaalspawn story within BG2.

Ive played threw the game twice already! In both my pc was in love with her at 100%, but on one play threw I took her offer and the other i didnt nor did i let her sleep with Alistar. During the first ep-log it said she was with child which of course because i choice to sleep with her and save my sorry hide! But during the other play threw at the ep-log when i choose not to sleep with her or have her sleep with Alistar it still said she was with child. So my question is was she already pregnant before she offer the way out and say that the ritual will bare a child even though she was most likely already pregnant?! Because a woman like i doubt she would let any man get near her. Just makes me think she was pregnant already with the child also keep in mind my pc was male. Haven't gone threw as a female yet to see if it does the same thing!

If you sleep with her at any time in the game, you can get the "with child" ending.

actualy i found very stupid that she even wasted time explaining me anything, since i was already in a physical relation with her all she had to do was getting in my bed and get her scheme going, the real surprise would be killing the Archdemon and staying alive... ofc she would have to vanished b4 the last battle,in fact that would fit much more in her way of doing things and would even more interesting for a future plot.

She would not have disappeared before the battle, as she had to assure that the archdemon was killed, to further her plan. Also, I imagine she needed to be close enough at the killing blow, to complete the ritual. I doubt that a mage of her ability would have little trouble getting away unseen. Of course, my character, as a high level Grey Warden, would have likely had made arrangements for some of his allies to try to keep an eye on her during and after the battle. In my first play through, my character did not need to call either the elves or mages in as reinforcements. Both of those groups would have made excellent choices to tail and follow Morrigan, and inform my character of her whereabouts. Afterall, she had made it clear to him before the battle she planned to leave. And he had told her, he planned to follow. So, he would have taken steps to make sure he could have.
