[Jesse Houston Edit] - Locking as it's all a big miss understanding

So after the recent patch things have been relatively back to normal. I decided to pick the FBA couplings for the engineers at Omega, but the couplings weren't there. I figured oh I must've already done this quest. So I go down to engineering to make sure and they say they still need those FBA couplings. Check my journal, and the quest isn't even there.

Now I know this is just a minor quest and has no effect on gameplay whatsoever, but this brings up the question that if this simple quest is like that, are there others?

I didn't have any problems with this quest.

Not exactly, the engineers were there but they were still complaining about having no FBA couplings.

That's weird. Are you playing as a male or female? I didn't run into this as a female so maybe it's a male glitch?!?

Male Shepard. I always do this quest, and it's just really weird oddity that I ran into.

Never mind, it seems I didn't go through the necessary dialogue choices to get the quest. My apologies for raising unnecessary concern.
