Great to see that =) I could never rival Aveline because she's my Hawkes best friend. But it's fun to know about this anyways. Love Aveline .

I think this is great writing. You have a rival who you constanly disagree with, ridicule, and say sarcastic things to. Finally she snaps, shoves you and punches you a couple of times. You let it slide because you still need her, but you let her know that next time you'll fight back. You can't always dominate every person on your team.

And at least Aveline's actions make sense. Compare with my DAO experince with Zevran. First he tries to kill you. You
spare his life and let him join your team. You talk to him a couple
times, take him on a quest or two, but basically ignore him. He repays
you by trying to kill you again! Huh?

 People who are still angry at Bioware will no doubt disregard how awesome that part of the game was and will probably say something silly like 'I hate how they aren't giving us enough control over our own character' or something lol.

My Lady Hawke and Aveline never really agreed on everything as I play Hawke as somewhat of a lose cannon but if Aveline ever tried to strike her like that, she would lie down and simply take it.

I find it difficult to rival any of my companions (except Anders who accrues rival points disgustingly easy). I probably won't do this with Aveline, but it's just awesome! Thanks for sharing .
