Yea!!   Now I just need Legion, Thane, and Grunt and my ideal squad is complete!

I do like the others not confirmed, but these three are the only other ones I can see staying with shepard for a long time.  Legion, the Shepard Commander stalker robot .  Thane, had no other purpose left to his life before Shep came along, AND a LI.  Grunt, Shep is his battlemaster, so I think he will stick around for a while more.

...I'm liking the sound of the article where Casey actually says some characters will tag along for one mission especially when asked if Wrex would return, and also the bit where he says "Stuff like the Genophage has faces to it; Grunt, Mordin and Wrex...".

At the very least they're considering having all of the previous squadmates from ME1 and ME2 return as a squadmate in some form of capacity.

Aha, if you say so. I found Samara one of my favourite characters in ME2, despite my disagreements with her code. If you don't like her, fine, but many people do. Calling her retarded whilst telling somebody off for saying a character you likes sucks (which is much less offensive) is pretty damn hypocritical.

Its not hypocrytical at all. You can like samara all you want, but her character still makes no sense.
