Yes. But ET didn't wreck my computer, Pool of Radiance did. Besides, aren't lists of this type subjective? The games I listed are the worst I've played, ie the games I have enjoyed least for any number of reasons. And yes, I've played plenty.

Ooooh, no-one's mentioned the one I reckon is the worst thing I've ever played... s'an XBLA game for me: Hydrophobia.

Godawful voice acting (I am not kidding, it was just painful to listen to), mindnumbingly stupid controls, and the whole thing was a colossal let-down.

And then they patched it, and since they gave it halfway decent controls, it almost played properly, which cut the running time from about 8 hours to about an hour and a half.

THAT is how bad the controls were...

Utter, utter, utter waste of time, money, electricity and hard drive space.

Yea but come on. Dead Space and TOEE?! I can understand Oblivion but not liking a game doesn't mean it's bad.

Forever Worlds:Enter the Unknown.
When you have to manually install files you glean off the disc just to get the game to *run*, it's bad. It only goes far, FAR downhill from there.

It's the "Plan 9 from Outer Space" of gaming. I could go on for an hour.

The Xbox 360 port of the first Two Worlds is a game that should never have passed certification. The voice acting is laughable too.

Ultima IX: Ascension

I consider it the buggiest game I have ever played. The engine was horribly optimized and the game was broke in more ways than I care to remember. I stopped considering Richard Garriott a pioneer in RPG development because of it (his projects after leaving EA reinforce that too).

It would be wrong to list any other game in the same category, ff14 was far and away the worst game I have ever played.  HORRIBLE.  And I was stupid and blind enough to shell out near 80 dollars for a collectors edition.  

It was worse than taking a 100 dollar bill and lighting it on fire, at least then I'd have gotten to see a brilliant flame, ff14 was a turd of an experience through and through, combot was an abomination, economy was the same, no god damn auction house, you needed to walk from player storefront to player storefront to find things,  If I listed all the things wrong with this game I would permanently crash biowares social forums for the petabytes of text required to explain in full the horrors of that game.  I have seen the infinite, infinitely bad.  

For all of you who have never played it, thank the heavens and your maker for the incredible gift that has been given, and the nightmate you were spared from experiencing.

hehe I heard the horror stories.  My friend was in on the beta and he tried to show me but couldn't get it to work and he was like this game isn't ready to come out yet.  It came out and like a month later their apologizing everyone lol.  I'm no fan of Square Enix.  I think Final Fantasy and JRPGs in general are crap and can't be bothered.  The only game that they've made that I've enjoyed is Just Cause 2.
