Wet, I could not even make it out of the first level. The controls were so horrible and it tried too hard to be stylish and cool.

Must have been Army Men. That game was frustrating... even for an uncritical 11 year old (I admit it, I loved the Medal of Honor series for the PSX - yea, that uncritical)...

Too Human is possibly the worst piece of consumer electronics ever released.

This.

Also agree Two Worlds was painful, and from back in the day Quest 64.

Final Fantasy 2 (Worst of the series unless you count 14)
Xenosaga 2 (Liked 1, loved 3, but 2 )

First two that came to mind, may edit later.

Oh, okay:

Worst game that few will know: Crystal Key 2: The Far Realm (old style point & click adventure game)

Worst game that most people probably should know: Gothic 2 (Gold Edition)

For G2, it was just so overwhelmingly dull and frustrating that I gave up on it after sinking a substantial number of hours into it. I simply wasn't enjoying it. At all. Gah.

I'm going to be a bit controversial and say Morrowind. I really, really tried to get into it. So many people recommended it (I even got Oblivion on the same peoples recommendation) and it sounded good in theory but the game just wasn't for me. Lack of purpose, lack of story, slow pace and tedious gameplay.

I am going to get into trouble, but what the heck. Worst game can be for any reason... I just quit The Witcher 2 because I hate the way it plays. It is too inconsistent with the original. I realize that I am in the minority. I hope this changes and wish I was among those who love it. I put in over 180 hour to play the pro human and non-human sides of the Witcher. I quit TW2 after 8 hours. I got bored. Not challenged, bored to tears and unwilling to see where the game goes if I have to pay the price of playing it. The Witcher was one of my favorite games ever, TW2 is the biggest let down for me ever, despite the brilliant graphics, story line, virual world and better more challenging adventures. Heck, Geralt moves like Pac Man and the camera movement hurts my eyes. Somehow CD Project engineered the fun out of TW2. So, for me it is not the game as a whole but the loss of fun the I experienced playing the first edition.

So its the worst game you have ever played? It becomes very interesting after Flotsam, no matter who you side with. Oh well, your loss. B)

Bayonetta

Seriously?  I mean - I know it's plot was bizarre and the game was ridiculous in elements of its presentation (e.g. the actual character Bayonetta), but on the gameplay scale it's like a 14/10.  And in an 'action' game such as Bayonetta/DMC/NG, gameplay is king.  Not to mention, Bayonetta has some of the most epic set-pieces ever seen in a videogame.

Seriously - this thread is getting filled up with absolutely rubbish suggestions.

Need I remind you we are talking about the worst game you have EVER played?  Surely there must be things far worse than Bayonetta...

A game that is almost utterly unplayable, probably crashes every 2 seconds, has music that causes your ears to bleed, visuals that cause permanant blindness, controls that require more effort than the worst game of Twister that you have ever played, no instructions, no balance, absolute and utter frustration at every corner of the game (not for you, but for everybody), etc.

The problem with horrible games is that they are also forgettable and people tend to discuss their recent disappointments as the worst games they've played instead =\\

A couple that I forgot until now.
WCW: Mayhem. For the N64. The ads threw Goldberg at you like it was awesome. The game itself threw Feces at you. The idea that you get a code for real PPV events and get to replay them in the game was cool............... that was the only good thing I can say about it. Terrible controls... graphics that make you want to barf and absolutely no fun to be had no matter how hard I tried.

The second worst wrestling game is.
Wrestlemania XIX
I got this little thing for free for Gamecube and I still think I payed to much. I started the baby up played 2 minutes with the Rock vs Stone Cold and just like that had enough. Everything is clunky and boring. Physics was horrible and grabs were just awkward. How could THQ (the go to people for great wrestling gaming) make such an abomination?

I enjoyed Morrowind. It was Oblivion I really hated.

Two Worlds is a piece of cheesy fun...I didn't think the Game was any good (although I do think they did a nice job on the Landscapes) but I had a TON of fun with the Dialog and voice acting...it was so bad it became sort of like "Plan 9 From Outerspace" and I laughed pretty much any time anyone said anything.

P.N.03 (Product Number 03)....Nuff said.

To be fair I didn't want to buy it, but my husband saw the $5.00 price tag and thought it was a bargain.  I on the other hand knew there was a reason behind that cheap price.  Needless to say that is a purchase I hang over his head every time he wants to buy something I know won't work out.   All I need to say is, "remember Product Number 03?" and he hangs his head in shame.

So awesome.

Dude you so bought the wrong game >.>

If that's your worst game ever then be thankful you never played Superman 64, Drake of the 99 Dragons or Dragon Age 2 (ohhh wait)
