Really some options are just silly :)

If DA2 was the worst game you've ever played; you haven't got a really large list then :P

For me? Well it has to be Arma II. And mind you! It's not in anyway a bad game. I just didn't like it that much.

I'm going to hurt you....in a non-fatal way. Arma II is the only shooter (I guess you can call it a sim to) that takes any brains. Doesn't mean I don't enjoy a good halo match with my friends or Battlefield. Arma II is the only shooter I can enjoy by myself Halo, Battlefield or Unreal I can only play with friends other wise I get too bored. Also Crysis 1 and Warhead I really enjoy those 2.

If I said the flash game that nobody remembers from when I was 12 years old, nobody would care. I answered Bayonetta because its a game thats popular that I severely dislike. From the artistic direction of the characters (mainly the women. Why does the main char walk like that???), the demonology that just hits you over the head, to the silly monsters that you fight (admittedly, some are cool), I just don't like it. I tried it because a friend of mine proclaimed it to do what God of War does, but way better. While Kratos himself is a pretty terrible guy, I found it a better game. I also played it on Ps3, and there were lots of framerate issues; that certainly couldn't help my formation of an opinion on the game.

Sure, I could answer "The Grinch" game that came out, or maybe Spawn that came out in 1996 or so on PS1. Maybe Dead or Alive: Paradise, or something like that... But for all intents and purposes, Bayonetta is one of my least liked games of all time.

Hey, you can chalk it up as me having bad taste. To each their own.

Worst game i've ever played? So far that I've been experienced, no game that I played can be estimated by "worst". They are all good game in some aspect. I've read many sites that point out the worst games that humanity has ever known but i've seen no game i've played is like that. If you ask me: What is the most BORING games that i've ever play, I can get some answer for you:
- The Elder Scroll 4: Oblivion. Travel all the time in the caves, houses, ruins..., do whatever side quests ...just to spam your skill before encounter the main quest line to achieve your goal easier. I played it just one time, and then, farewell
- Dreamfall: The longest journey. Complain about its story line? Not at all, its story is far better than Dragon Age: Origins or Dragon Age 2. But its gameplay is incredibly boring. If I play it again, just to understand more the story lines, nothing more.

Hmm, there's a lot to choose from :P.

Alone in the Dark on the 360
Medal of Honor (the new one)
Deadly Premonition
Two Worlds 1&2
Matrix: Path of Neo
I'm not alone
Hidden Target
Divinity 2 Ego Draconis
Stuntman Ignition

I could go on, but those are the ones I most recently threw into the corner in disgust. I would add Dragon Age 2, but that wasn't horrible, I was just terribly disappointed in it.

Alone in the Dark made me sad. There were so many good ideas at play within it and it was just such a technical mess that they were all for naught.

Your like me.  After playing tactical shooters, the arcady corridor shooters bore me to death.

I like Crysis, but my favorite is Half-Life. Crysis copied much off of Half-Life. The blend of shooting, puzzles and atmosphere are awesome. Some of the puzzles, too, are very challenging.

Half-Life also has a really good story if you pay attention to it.

Yea, you need more to it than just being funneled through levels and shooting enemies, or just hitting a button to activate something here and there.

In recent years... Soldier of Fortune: Payback.

I loved the first one (yeah, it was just corridor shooting and mindless recreational violence, but I liked it). Didn't think about the change in developers when I saw it, I just bought Payback for nostalgia's sake (pretty much how Activision work these days, I know that now) and it was like... well, anybody seen the South Park episode about the Indiana Jones movie? Felt a bit like that. On it's own it was a pretty terrible game, but as a follow-up to one of those games I'll always remember it was depressingly disappointing.

Civ City: Rome

or

Robin Hood: Legend of Sherwood Forest (or some such title)

one castle mission was ****ing unplayable, kept accidentally killing the guards, etc.

Exactly. So many people are so butthurt about it not being Origins they'll whine about it whenever they can.

I'd have to concur with Superman 64. That was just...... what was that?

My worst gaming experience ever would probably have to be playing Steel Battalion and not having any freaking clue as to what all the buttons did. Needless to say, I died often, and quite spectacularly for several days until I finally figured everything out. At which point the game became quite enjoyable, but in the way like "Hah, I beat you, you silly bugger!", not "Wow, this game is good".

I have to go with TES: Oblivion.
I really expected so much more out of it because I really enjoyed Morrowind, but for me it just didn't deliver.

Fable 2 was amazing! I have no idea why they what they did after Fable 2's improvements.

I don't really like FPSs, so I'm excluding them. Worst that comes to mind is TW1. I got through 2 hours and decided I had better things to do with my time.

I'm tempted to say GTA-Vice City but awful as it was (and definitely the most overrated) I have played a few games even worse...
I once had a play on a friends Odyssey (1st games console ever..a hint to my age) and the games on that were rubbish (not that there were any better alternatives...).
In the mid-eighties I played an arcade shooter with models and explosions like a TV SF series...Very flashy but I didn't have the slightest idea what I was doing...
and Sentient despite some incredible ideas ended up badly bugged and barely playable (congratulations to anyone who succeeded without a walkthrough or guide..due to the sheer complexity of navigation, communication, etc)
