 Okay, so i have completed Mass Effect 2 on the Normal difficulty, and got the acheivement for completeing the game, but now i want to go back, and with the same character do the game again on insanity difficulty.

Here's the problem, when you start again, you can choose to use a new character or import one from ME1 or ME2.
i press on ME2 and import the one i used last playthrough. Then you go through and the Normandy blows up yadayada and Shepard dies. When cerberus bring him back to life, you can choose what he looks like but i have imported my character, so i dont need to change the looks, and then the game and my xbox lock up and i cant do anything, when i try and go back on, my game didnt save, and i have to start the whole process up again and do all the same, and the xbox locks up again.

Can anyone help??

I don't think the issue is limited to the importing of a ME2 Shepard. It sounds like a 'normal' lock up problem.

Looking around the forum there are some who suggest installing the game to the hard drive (obviously only an option if you have a hard drive and haven't done so already). Apparently installation cuts down on the problem.

If that is already done then I am pretty much out of suggestions, though another forum user suggests clearing the cache...

Thanks, i'll have a look at clearing the cache, i had the game installed first time i started the game, and then deleted it as i ran out of space, so i'll have a look at that. Thanks for your help
