I thought it was very good takes me 17 hours to complete on normal 4 hours more than origins bad points are
same dungeons

And that's it, I might get Mass Effect 2 and 3 later on but Dragon age are the first games I play from Bioware.

About 3rd or 4th, but when the other games are ME1 & 2 and DA:O, you're in good company. Out of about the 50ish games I've played in total, it's in the top 10.

It goes kind of like this.

ME > BG > KOTOR > ME2 > HotUnderdark > Jade Empire > NwN2 > Origins > DA2 > SoU > NwN.

I really didn't like NwN. Come to think of it i didn't like NwN2 THAT much either.. There, that's better.

Best to worst:

Baldur's Gate 2 + TOB Just a little better because of character interactions. Even during random NPC conversations. + Strongholds. +Replayability. The stuff of legends.
Baldur's Gate The one to teach me how to adventure. To not try on those gloves before identifying them first. To not trust the potions of strangers. To pick my battles and scout ahead. To talk to chickens and hamsters. To survive first to become powerful later. Companions attacking each other, ogres exploding, permanent disintigration, turning to stone on sight, finding unique treasure in the pockets of a no-name traveller: everything was possible in BG. And just when you think you're done, 2 more chapters.
Jade Empire For the story + the combat. Also the romances, evil options and Kang the Mad.
DAO Too many bugs still not patched up today. Great story + chars. The Ogre battle.
ME Cinematic gaming, choices, the mission to Virmire
SW:KOTOR Good game, the standard bioware game, but with lightsabers
ME2 Combat greatly improved over ME + looks good, but story = ??
NWN
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance Not very good, but ok
Sonic Chronicles ??
DA2 Just horrible....boring combat, bland game world, useless story with more holes than plot.

 Nice thread; I typically rank BioWare titles I've played (in my head, that is... I don't write them down or something... really!)

1. Knights of the Old Republic - 9/10
2. Dragon Age: Origins - 8/10
3. Mass Effect 2 - 8/10
4. Jade Empire - 7/10
5. Dragon Age II - 7/10
6. Mass Effect - 6/10

Not played NWN or Baldur's Gate, unfortunately, so can't rank 'em. Even so, BioWare have yet to top KotOR for me, and it seems unlikely they ever will since their method of desigin games is a lot less focused on quality these days (the weight of having a large license to do justice, along with not being able to rely on patches/DLC in pre-360 days meant they had to get KotOR right first time, and they did).

It had potential to be one of the best Bioware games I've played but the last act and all the obvious corners that were cut (Reused environments, enemies dropping from the sky or the ceiling, plot just kind've wanders etc.) puts it at the bottom of my list.
