Where does DA2 rank among bioware games you played?

DA:O
NWN: HotU
BG2: ToB
BG1
KotOR
ME1
ME2
NWN: SoU
NWN (however, multiplayer would shoot this up the rankings a lot)
DA:A
JE
...
...
DA2
Some of these are really hard to put in order, because it's hard to say which one I liked more than the other. The top half dozen are SO CLOSE that, if you ask me tomorrow, I might arrange them in a different order, and then again differently a few days after that.
DA2, though, is practically in a different category entirely. Jade Empire was not a game I really loved, but it was pretty close. DA2 is a game I barely like, due to having many components that I honestly hate... and those hated parts really drag down even the parts of the game I did like a lot. So, DA2 sits in the corner and gets left out of the fun and games for me.

DA: Awkenings
I should say that the first three are fun games to play, but DA2 definitely did not live up to expectations. I got ME2 free from the promotion and although shooters are not really my thing it did pique my interest for ME3. Awakenings was just bad.

It has a very engaging narrative, better than all those confusing ones with lots of talking and text like Planescape: Torment or Mask of the Betrayer.
I'm totally serial.
Man, I fully agree, finally someone with some brain. Reading all that stupid text in PT made my little head dizzy, I want more gore ffs not some well-developed characters.

KOTOR: Know you are Revan is really awesome.
NWN, Baldur's Gate: are equal imo, Baldur's Gate has better story but NWN is superior in gameplay.
ME1, ME2: fun indeed but more action game than RPG.
DA2: not much to say, really hope DA3 will be better.
Jade Empire: don't remember much, pretty average, im asian but think people in this game are fugly.

Given that, when it comes to inventory, management is the gameplay, I don't really see how "easier to manage" is a plus.Customized companions had both strengths and flaws; easier to manage, but lack of options could lead to less than desirable AC, defense, etc as well as appearance issues.

1. Knights of the Old Republic: Just epic to be transported back in time, and deal with the Star Wars history. They also included elements that the movies never really got.
2. Dragon Age: They got the best of all fantasy: not too much magic, epic battles, good character, varied locations, a history and legacy so the world feels alive.
3. Dragon Age - Awakenings: It's the same as Dragon Age, but it feels rushed - and missing some cool stuff from the original game.
4. Dragon Age II: Er... read all the "I like DA:O but DA2 sucks" threads.
5. Jade Empire: It was generally fun, but the combat turned me off.
6. Mass Effect: Ugh! Is it a FPS or a RPG? I really hate the combat system...

In my opinion, there's a huge gap between ranks 4 and 5. Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 2 weren't that enjoyable for me.

1. Baldur's Gate 2 - perfect game, got to know it inside out, replayed it multiple times, i keep replaying it even now.
2. KoTOR - great game, replayed it a few times and still haven't got bored.
3. Dragon Age: Origins - well it was great the first time, I was addicted and loved it but the combat was too easy and the items weren't as memorable as BG2, I couldnt get lost in it like I did for BG2 but it was great. It is major effort replaying it though.
4. Mass Effect - a really fun game, really sleek and polished and well made but I can't see myself replaying it. It was underwhelming, I enjoyed it but when I finished it I was a bit like "is that it?". I didn't get immersed in it as other games.
5. Dragon Age: Awakenings - same problem as Mass Effect. Felt too rushed, I didn't feel like I got into the game as much.
6. Baldur's Gate - blahhh, I dunno I know I should like it but there's too much walking around, it's too hard as well, having about 7 HP for the first 6 hours and constantly dying is a pain. It
7. Neverwinter Nights - The OC was awful and playing it wasn't fun, but dicking around with the toolset was a laugh, wasted so many hours on that. Crimson Tides of Tethyr was also better than anything that BioWare put out for the game.

We can be fairly confident that we're aware of all of BioWare's game releases.lionalio87 wrote...
(maybe they are so mediocre that they didn't even survive for us to know about them! ).
Their non-game releases? I don't know. I know they released a Gastroenterological Patient Simulator, but I don't know if pre-game BioWare had any other products.
Here's an complete list of their game releases:
Shattered Steel
Baldur's Gate
Baldur's Gate 2
MDK2 (and variations)
Neverwinter Nights
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Jade Empire
Mass Effect
Mass Effect 2
Mass Effect Galaxy
Sonic Chronicles
