I'd rather **** the vast majority, than kill them.
Kill them it is then.

I really hope they make it clear whether or not you're getting into a romance or not. I found it annoying when I tried to talk to crew members and Shep started hitting on them.

Dude, they aren't going to FORCE it upon you like that.
They SPECIFICALLY said that it depends on how you handled your conversations with them in previous games. Were you sort of flirtatious with them somehow? Then maybe that's when the option will show up, otherwise I'm sure you just won't see it at all.

Sexuality, history, and personality really have very little to do with each other. Sure, they all play off one another, but there is no set formula.
Let's say, I don't know, Wrex (for sh*ts and giggles) prefers other men. Does that mean he's not manly as hell? Does that mean you suddenly have to watch your back around him?
Dude, I'm bisexual, and I am most definitely NOT attracted to everyone.

Who do you think sent that breeding request?

It'll offset the loss of you not purchasing the game so that net profit remains equal, thus encouraging Bioware to continue to include s/s romance in future games.Volus Warlord wrote...
Not exactly what I meant. Your fanboyism will gain you nothing.
Bwahaha.

No, dude. It was Wrex.
Wrex has a mancrush on your Shepard.

This is why the heart icon in DA2 was such a freakin' godsend.

Feel free. It's your money.
Not mine. I'm really tempted to give up on Bioware entirely at this point.

Well I suppose I should have said "turning lesbians straight but only for him" but that sounded awkward. Still, maybe not as much as there would be for literally turning lesbians straight, but making a character that is essentially the one and only man than lesbian characters would sleep seems to me that it would be the type of thing that would get a lot of negative attention for being something that panders to male fantasies.
At the end of the day though, even if it was "turning lesbians straight" is the basic principle really that different? A lesbian or a straight woman still aren't into both genders any more than they would be just into men or women respectively.

EDIT: The original post dealt with the supposed fact that there would be no new love interests in ME3. Casey Hudson has confirmed in his Twitter feed, however, that there had been changes in development since the interview and that there were actually same sex love interests for both male and female characters.

Happy to confirm #ME3 supports wider options for love interests incl. same-sex for m&f chars,
reactive to how you interact w/them in-game.[i]
Since the topic has changed, here's some new questions. What do all of you think about the addition of same-sex love interests?

Does the topic at hand include calling people pitiful, stupid, useless, misled, incompetent (sorry, 'incompetant'), and fanatical?
On topic now, ain't it beautiful that Bioware didn't turn its back on love? :-)

Well, I can only hope you do not ever mean to come across as disparaging toward anyone. The galaxy might explode.
