Where does KOTOR put savegames in Windows 7? If they are in the saves directory in the program directory, they cannot be seen with the windows explorer program. Also, each ID seems to only see it's own savegames within the game itself.

I want to move all my kids from the computer they are on, and have separate logins, to another machine, and I would like to move their savegames, and they would like me to move them too, but I cannot find them.

Lastly, I downloaded the savegame editor for KOTOR to see if it could find any saves and it couldn't either. The KOTOR program itself seems to have no such trouble.

Thanks in advance if anyone can help me.

i can't seem to find where the saved games are either i've check the directory where its installed and go to saves but nothing shows up i'm on windows 7 64 bit

Windows 7 (64-bit)  KoTOR & KoTOR II game save are located at:

KoTOR:
C:\\Users\\[user name]\\AppData\\Local\\VirtualStore\\Program Files (x86)\\LucasArts\\Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic\\Saves\\

KoTOR II:  The Sith Lords:
C:\\Users\\[user name]\\AppData\\Local\\VirtualStore\\Program Files (x86)\\LucasArts\\SWKotOR2\\Saves\\


The AppData Folder is hidden.
To unhide folders:
1. Open Windows Explorer.
2. Select Computer then C:\\
3. Select Users folder
4. Select Organize drop down menu (top left corner)
5. Select Folder and Search Options
6. In Folder Options, Select View tab.
7. In the Advanced settings: window,  under Files and Folders & Hidden files and folders (yellow folder symbol), Select Show hidden files, folders, and drives, Then click the Apply button (bottom right).

Now the folders files should be unhidden. Just follow the folder path to your game save.

(Republic Command Saves are also located in the above file path)
