I started a new Facebook Group for the NWN community. The
old group is going to be deleted and has not been active in a little while. I felt
it might be a good way for us NWN folk to meet each other. Feel free to join

Good idea!

I noticed I already have most of the people on there on my Facebook already but this is still a very good idea.

I'm a total sucker for "neutral" NWN grounds and communities and all kinds of that stuff.

Although I like server dedicated forums/communities as well I am not currently feeling affiliated with a single server so thats why general NWN banter is so good :-)

I will certainly do that, any group or PW for that matter is
welcome to join and use the space to advertise. I was thinking of putting an
invite post up on the NWN 2 forum as well.

I think you should. I do a lot of crossover gaming between NWN and NWN2 but I tend to stick to one forum or the other. Plug NWC's facebook group too? No point in spamming them.

I posted a couple of links to the community group and one for NWC. hopefully this can be an olive branch to start getting the two communities together.

Geeze, took, over 3 months just to hit 100! So, another 1.25 years to wait?

Granted, facebook groups tend to grow fairly quickly though, so you might get lucky with that.

I think I was number 99 or maybe 100, not 100% positive on that one though.  I requested membership when I saw you previous post about hitting 98.

I have to admit though, I don't really use facebook.  I haven't seen much use for yet another chat/email/electronic contact format and the drawback I see with facebook is the advertising and false member spammers.

Hey, I get that my enthusiasm is a little much, but it's all in good fun!

But on the "Another chat/social web/etc..." I hear you. I didn't feel like it at first, but I caved in
and thought what the f*** and joined. I figured that if I ever have a reason not to come to these
forums anymore, I'd have another place to quickly take part in discussions with NWNers elsewhere.
