 @ Ali and Ryllen.

Now that's awes..... *twitch*.... innovative.

By the way, I forgot to mention "started". I've tried about  5 times, and couldn't finish them. 2 warriors (1 dh, 1 S&B), abandoned in the Gallows, keeping Capt. Ewald company.

1 mage, abandoned in the "Deep Roads". Yeah, I really didn't like her.

2 rogues, one abandoned on the Wounded Coast, one lingering in Darktown somewhere (act I). I think there's another one. I just can't remember where she is. Or what she is.

I'm sure he'd agree it would make an Awesome $50 coaster.Posted Image

Effin' zero. And because I paid for the digital version I can't even put it to good use following the many fine suggestions in this thread.

That, and parking tickets.Posted Image

But not at the same time, or it would lead to chewy ravioli with lots of fiber or parking tickets which were unpleasantly scratch & sniff, attracting every stray cat within a two mile radius. Posted Image

That or he would realize that the majority who enjoyed Origins dislike DA2. If he could just stop suggesting to "play on hard"Posted Image. (I've beaten the game on Nightmare on my first playthrough!)

God damn, that is some effective mental conditioning, right there.

Methinks Dragon Age 2 has a future after all... just not as a video game.

I doubt cats would enjoy something that's associated with DA2...

By the gods! mrcrusty, what are you doing to poor Caligula?

Just kidding, I know it's A Clockwork Orange.

Now that is a scary thought, watching DA 2 footage with subliminal flashings of the "A word" to be brainwashed into pre-ordering DA 3.

Wasn't that how the "Button = AWESOME!" advertising worked?

Lol @ Mrcrusty.

Don't laugh, but I know two books where brainwashing is a major factor. 1984 (the Ministry of Love, rofl), and Clockwork Orange. I've a feeling the pic is from the 2nd. AmIrite?

Edited to run and hide from Ali's flame-thrower. I didn't even finish the word. Can I has probation?

You better go and watch the film, Sabriana. You don't wanna mess with Ali when she's got her knife and DA 2 chopping board at the ready.

^_^

Ever wonder why Caligula's eccentricity later manifested into outright insanity?

He was forced to watch Dragon Age 2 footage.

Gimme a minute, Ali. I'm trying to come up with an excuse, and as usual, I'm bad at it.

Ermhh..... It's not running on TV here, and....,ah..., I lost my membership card for the rental place. Yes. Yes, that's it.

I also found start # 6. She never got out of the outskirts of Lothering. She was a DW rogue (my other ones were archers), and I hated the build for some reason.

Edited to agree with Mrcrusty. I too am scared of Ali when she has her knife, chopping block CD, and flamethrower out.

Ah, that makes sense then. I could see how Caligula would consider violence to be comedy after playing DA 2 with all the rogue ballet moves, magic vanishing acts, mage twitching and warrior baton twirling hijinx ending up in people turning into piles of red mannequin parts upon death.

This. DA2 is the reason many great men have lost their sanity, unfortunately...

On a slightly more serious note, as I'm not willing to play through a game which I don't like several times over, I've relied on youtube to catch any differences in playthroughs, I've actually relied on youtube for much of my opinion about the game's story, dialog and choices.

Do any of you who have played it through multiple times feel like there is a large difference playing through using different characters, choices, personalities, etc?

Started 3, finished 1.
I'm quite interested to try the different romances, friendship/rivalry but I just can't bring myself to suffer playing the entire game for it.
