Gianna Parasini is at the top there. I would say Shiala but I prefer her to be an epic boss battle where she turns into a Thorian monster. 
An interesting interrupt for Al Jilani might be a kiss. Shepard lays one on her and she starts stalking him. 

Noooo, I like Shiala! ....but ok, epic Thorian monster fight would be cool...or maybe she's in some sort of symbiotic thing with the thorian and if we romance her we can get the Thorian on our side to fight the reapers?...some sort of counter-indoctrination method!!! LOL jk.

Hmmm, actually now that I think about it, are there any m/m options for MShep that are non-squad members from ME1 or ME2? Except for James Vega or any other new male LI, I can't think of any male minor characters like Aria or Gianna. :innocent:

While I think it would be nice (of course I do, I'm a fat dude, being able to just go for one playthrough as FatShep would be, if anything, hilarious), this is something I know makes no sense. People don't want ugly people in their games and if they do, they can mess up Shepards face and have Zaeed. That's plenty already, I'd guess.

I don't disagree with that, but it seems like there is a bit of a double standard around here. We who support the initiative are expected to act calm, serene and fair, regardless of how offensive and vulgar the anti-gay group behaves. Honestly? I often get the feeling there is a double standard, but the other way around. So you see, it's a matter of perspective probably and in the end both sides just have too many people they're really not proud of. (not to mention, I see myself in a gray area anyway, because I am in favor of same sex relationships and being able to choose a sexual orientation for Shepard...I just personally wouldn't want for certain NPCs to be revealed as bi/gay out of personal preference for how I want them to be)

Ironically, I am quite close in my viewpoint to yours. I don't want an all-bi squad, and I don't care if any existing characters are revealed to be bisexual or not, I'd be happy with new characters. We all fall on different points on the spectrum, but the outliers are used as the benchmark for both sides. If you support same-sex content, you're seen as someone who wants to completely retool Shepard to be a completely different character. If you're against some aspects of implementation, often you're derided as homophobic without cause. I strive to address actual points people are making on a point by point basis whenever I can, and I know a lot of others take an even more diplomatic tone. But I am constantly being upbraided for either being belligerent, "narcissistic", arrogant, intolerant, etc., while others are given a pass on the other side of the argument because they're not expected to be civil anyway. Granted, again, I'm talking about those with the most extreme anti-gay agenda. It's really difficult to strike the right balance between being informative, being conversation, being humorous, and being firm in your viewpoint, and I feel that we are held to a much more stringent standard than the other side. Maybe that's just a matter of perspective, perhaps there are others on the other side who feel the same way.

Well, I won't complain if It's Tali. It'd be a win-win for me to be honest, but I feel the need to support the Miranda campaign as some of my friends really want her as an option.

Semi-seconded. I would enjoy getting more Joker and having Femshep flirt with him...but at the same time....somehow Joker/Shepard would be kinda weird to me and even more so he's one character I would..just like to not be bi. Don't hate me for it.

I would prefer to be able to help Joker get a girlfriend...again, personal opinion.
