Indeed. He has 3 games of history with Shepard as well so the m/m option will have *technically* been with Shepard through the whole series (much like the VS and Liara). Even if they didn't actually get together romantically until the 3rd.

That's really why I want him as the m/m LI.

I think Kaidan would be a great m/m option...yeah yeah I know, it's a big hope but It'd be great. Jack would be a plausible f/f option, even though I personally don't like her much.

All you Joker fans are JUST SICK. I mean, bisexuality with VS, beastiality with Boo the space hamster, alien sex with female plucked chickens with her head in the bucket, pedophilia with Grunt, and nutri-paste oral sex with Biotic God are awesome, but having sex with a cripple is just SO WEIRD.

Actually I will be very disappointed if we don't see what a quarian actually looks like by the end of the series.  I don't care if it's Tali specifically or not...  

Until then I'm imagining she looks something like HR Giger's Sil

Maybe it's been said here already - heck, I've said it elsewhere myself - but I just love how the ME community is progressive enough to accept human romances with other alien species without batting an eyelash but if there are love interests that cross into same-sex territory (even with the SAME species).... boom! Everybody's up in arms, for and against.

Take a few steps back on this one... if, as a species, we've already climbed the mountain of accepting that a human can fall in love with an amphibian biped or a blue-skinned squid lady or a bird-man with an exoskeleton (!), aren't same-sex relationships kind of a molehill at that point?

I honestly really really want there to be an awesome new male NPC who is m/m exclusive. Narratively, it would be a great fix and contribute to a realistic portrayal of varied sexualities. Nigel is my obvious choice, but I don't 100% expect him to be a squaddie, or even a major NPC. I still him, though.

I understand that resource allocation means we're unlikely to get an exclusively m/m LI, but it would work great in theory. Darn resource allocation.

Yes. Joker admits he is not a "people person" and one can notice that he has trouble accepting that others won't judge him due his disease, so it'd make sense if he took a long time to show his feelings to Shepard. It'd be awesome if he had a personal mission in ME3, like in the salarian homeworld for Shep to try and find a cure for him, maybe helping Mordin.

I know what you mean. But if they decide not too, I won't really be dissapointed...I mean it will be hard to make them look like something that can please everyone. The only way they could probably do that is by making her more human-like...But then again, people complain aliens in the ME universe are too human-like...Endless cycle here! I just love Tali's personality too much to really care. But it would be nice...

Yeah I'm playing ME1 right now and he practically bites Shepard's head off when Shep asks about him. Yeesh Joker. That mixed with his humor shield in ME2 and yeah...I want him as an LI.

Oooh a personal mission would be great. Have him do another last second rescue using the ship of course for extra points .

Nyo, I'm pretty sure she admits to having sex with girls in ME2 or at least with that one girl, remember the couple she said she hung out with and that they had sex (3-way apparently).

She does mention "boyfriends and girlfriends" in the beginning, so she's probably been with both. But, at the end if you try to be nice to her as FemShep, she tells you she doesn't play "the girl field", and totally rejects you in a mean way. She's the only one who mentions anything about their sexual orientation.

I can see the heart aching...hell, weirdness aside one of my femsheps WOULD romance him.
I think the main reason for my opinion anyway is the fact that he is one of my favorite characters and I am one of those people that don't like change. By now I just can't help but see Joker as straight...that is how he is in my mind for a long time now and unlike characters that are not my favorites, I have more trouble changing my view to a newly revealed "canon" view.
If I would like Joker (or Garrus or Tali...seriously, in the end it's mostly those three for me that I want to be straight, others I either can see as bi anyway, in general or because of reasons brought up here, or frankly, they're characters like Jacob where I just would not care either way) less I'd probably be more open to him being bi.
Weird I know, but I don't claim to know how my mind works and why it works that way.

(and I feel the need to note that yes, bi/gay characters could also be favorites of mine, Zevran remains my second favorite Bioware characters and my favorite DA character...it's just that Zevran was, from the start, in my mind as bi...or, honestly, I always saw him as more gay than bi, but that's a topic for another forum/thread....the whole situation is mostly me not liking change in how I view characters because I love them as they are...childish, i know, but such is how i am^^)
