All you Joker fans are JUST SICK. I mean, bisexuality with VS, beastiality with Boo the space hamster, alien sex with female plucked chickens with her head in the bucket, pedophilia with Grunt, and nutri-paste oral sex with Biotic God are awesome, but having sex with a cripple is just SO WEIRD.

Besides, he only has eyes for EDI, who is in love with LEGION, who is eying the toaster.

In my weird psyche Joker gets over the loss of EDI by going with Kelly.
And yes, the only reasoning I have for shipping them is that they are my favorite NPCs, logic and the characters I ship having actually met be damned. I don't have to make sense as long as I admit that I don't make sense!

I'm still holding out for Kelly to be a Cerberus assassin in ME3. In which in your scenario, she'd probably end up trying to kill Joker....then Dr Chakwas comes in and knocks Kelly out with a bedpan. :police:

But...but...Kelly! :crying:

It's probably a "see what you want" thing...or a "see what's closest to you" thing. Kinda like an example I once read somewhere about...make a stickfigure, a white person will say it's a white person, an asian will tell you it's clearly an asian and so on.

This is one reason why I like to know what the deal is from the start, so I don't end up being wrong. It's not like knowing if they're bi or gay would keep me from liking them. It would just keep me from eventually having a "but I don't want everything I know to be wrong" moment.

True.

If Joker ends up m/f only I see myself going: "NOOOOO It isn't fair! :crying:" and throwing a minor hissyfit.

I'll get over it quickly though.

That's a very interesting point Ryz. I see
Joker as the type of person that doesn't really connect with anyone
because he is always supecting that they will pity him or don't think
much of him. He is sorta like Garrus in the sense that most likely he
sees Shepard as his only friend in the world. Therefore, being able to
romantically click with someone would be so so difficult. I think that
if he gets to the point where he is that close to someone, he wouldn't
care about their gender but be glad that he is human and able to love
after all.[smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/heart.png[/smilie]

Yup. He just wants to be loved.

I'm not sure about Jack. There's this idea that because she's alternative and says f*ck a lot and stuff she should be bi. A little too stereotypical maybe?

She does mention "boyfriends and girlfriends" in the beginning, so she's probably been with both. But, at the end if you try to be nice to her as FemShep, she tells you she doesn't play "the girl field", and totally rejects you in a mean way. She's the only one who mentions anything about their sexual orientation.

Maybe she didn't enjoy women as much. Or maybe she is a "have sex with either, have romances with only one" persons. I don't know if that is a usual thing in reality, I don't know that many bisexual people (well, my closest friends have all bisexual tendencies, but we never really talk about that outside of some sex jokes about getting to watch the lesbians), but I have seen it in fiction numerous times.

I'm bisexual myself, and I -used- to be that way when I was younger...Scientists do say that no one is 100% straight or 100% gay. I like to think myself that, at least girls, are all a little bisexual inside. ;) Men, they're harder to crack...But yeah, she could be that type. She's been through a lot, I do feel bad for her even if she's so tense around my FemShep.

That's because men just are more ugly than women. Just the basic form of the body...that thing between our legs? Totally kills the overall aesthetic.
I don't know how straight ladies do it.
(unless we're talking Aaron Eckhart...or maybe George Clooney...but beyond that dudes are icky!)

Indeed. Like when Miranda bends over and the camera zooms into a closeup of her ass.

For me that's definitely a 'see what I want' thing.

Yeah, that is a side of Miranda I like. I think she is great...from the neck down and unless she talks.
Not a big fan of her personality though...

I have read your response. I disagree with many of your conclusions.

It's funny how you expect me to be accommodating toward you, and yet you have never been accommodating toward me, and yet you are calling ME a hypocrite. That is very interesting. And that's all I have to say about that.

Well as you know I disagree with many of your conclusions. At least we can agree to disagree.

If you did get your way I figured your hypocrisy would show itself, yours was the group that pretended to be above being so petty after-all. But I never expected you to compromise to anything, rather I hope Bioware will simply take the middle route rather than your extreme.

I'd venture to guess you don't even know what my specific idea is, you would just prefer to dump all your hatred for the Fight For The Love group onto me, because I'm the current leader of the group and a regular participant in the old forum thread. But I'm perfectly willing to "agree to disagree" with you. Especially since you aren't owning up to or addressing your OWN hypocrisy here. Trying to have a productive dialog with you was pointless before, I never expected it to be any more worthwhile now that circumstances have changed.

I don't think I've been hypocritical, for what it's worth. I've always been a mouthy b*tch. I do try to be a fair and considerate mouthy b*tch though. I can't believe anyone ever thought I was a Suzy Sunshine.

More on-topic, I really don't mind m/m being a new character, and I wouldn't mind if it was a non-squad member, as long as the dialogue was good and the character felt like a fully realized character. If it was a Dr. Chakwas-type character, that you could talk to more than a couple of times, who had interesting things to say and an actual point of view, I'd be down with that. Especially if he made it clear early on that he was interested in Shepard, so the "ew, gross!' people could just avoid him from then on.

Haha, I was a total lesbian back in highschool. This guy told me to give him a chance though, so I did...Eventhough it was painfully awkward at first. But then, I grew feelings for him, it was weird...He was just so nice and I didn't think guys could be like that. We were together 3 years...And that's when I thought to myself that the heart is way stronger than gender. So I label myself bisexual because of that...Both sexes can be awesome! (I do find myself more attracted to females physically, though.) Oh well..........Back to ME discussion. :D

Everyone on the SR2 owes their life to Shepard, I can't fathom anyone of her crew turning on her after saving them from becoming reaper goo.

Actually I will be very disappointed if we don't see what a quarian actually looks like by the end of the series.  I don't care if it's Tali specifically or not...

Until then I'm imagining she looks something like HR Giger's Sil

True

I want to say that's beautiful, but ever since I was a Giger exhibit a few weeks ago I can't help but fear that there are dozens of hidden penis's (what's the plural?) somewhere in there.
Seriously, you should no go to a Giger exhibit if you don't like the male  penis....or the female penis in some cases.

Actually I've been looking at Sil's model and I've yet to see hidden penises although what you can't see from that pic is the asari tentacles she's rocking on the side.

TBH she's one of the most feminine things I've see Giger create... well for Giger anyway.

She actually evolves over the course of the narrative, though. People just stop at the eye candy... there is more to her character if you give her a chance. She just needs to be loved.

If they make Nigel Fishnchips available, I'm so doing a Manshep playthrough. I want them to have a latte at the Tate modern. Like, while in the big ben you have this side quest to go evacuate the building and save some art or something. When there are no mooks left, there's this conversation at the cafeteria when you share a momentary feeling of peace together, with a brownish Thames and the destroyed dome of St. Paul in the background.

I adore Miranda. She's very much aware of the effect she has on men, and she accentuates her body deliberately. Why wouldn't she? Miranda is awesome. Miranda will cut a b*tch. I've always thought if there was one character that could be revealed to be open to s/s, it would be Miranda.

Maybe it's different if I actively romance her, I didn't like Fenris before I did that either (well, voice actor aside, that was fantastic from the start). I'll get to Miranda eventually...but my next playthroughs shall be loyal to Liara, then romancing Jack, then Thane...then either Miranda or one loyal to Kaiden or Ashley.
